Honestly, Brad and Claire have taught me a lot.

I'm super late to this thread but I have the biggest chef crush on Claire. Like, wow.

At the start I was like hmmm, must be going into a boat.

Reminded me of this car.
NRE really is no joke. They are currently building a mid engine AWD GTO. Just about every part is one-off CNC'd from billet aluminum. A lot of protouring/restmod cars use their engines, and that's a BIG dollar market.

One quick note though: I noticed a squeak after installing the SS, so I cleaned all of the old grease (and grit, somehow?!?) out of the cup where the pivot ball sits, reinstalled everything, but still had a squeak! Turns out, the shaft of the front piece of the shifter linkage was rubbing on a rubber dust boot below and to the driver’s side of the ECU. A little grease along that linkage shaft was all it took to solve. I took a pic to better display the problem area.

Found out that a good friend of mine and my wife's childhood best friend who's been battling cancer for the last 8 years has decided to stop treatment. She got diagnosed at 24 with stage 3 breast cancer, has surgery, chemo, radiation, everything, but the cancer kept coming back in different parts of her body. She's been doing a ton of work with some of the cancer treatment centers in Toronto she's been going to since her initial diagnostics, but also decided that she wanted to make the best of her life and has spent the last 5 or 6 years traveling around the world taking it all in. She was planning on coming out to visit us in September, but because of her deciding to stop treatments she's now grounded.

uckfay cancer.

Really sorry to hear about that Jukka. It's itshay having to sit there and watch someone fight. But it's nice to hear that they have been out experiencing what this world has to offer.

uckfay cancer indeed!

You uckfayers haha!

Just spoke with the guy on the phone, original owner from 1978, pretty cool! Seems very knowledgeable and gives the impression that he really cared for the bike but is now just too old to keep riding it.

Whether or not I can get someone to check it out I think I will make the trip Saturday morning.
