im down for that, but we would have to set up some restrictions/rules, such as tires, hp, driveline etc...

I was just thinking about getting this started again...

Let's see who's interested and we can do something similar to last yr's Solo 1 Series, pick a car, a track, and set mod levels/weight or whatever to a certain point and giv'er...

This may be the only way i can get some GT5 time in: so i'm in! (still only low level 20s though, so hopefully we're not jumping to cars that cost $10m or anything anytime soon).

Keep in mind that we only need a few cars... if you're not racing then you can put your car online so others can use it...

either way... I'll put some thought into this tonight and see what we can do..

Anyone with input/suggestions throw them out!!!

As long as we don't run any of the 'race' cars then most people should be able to join in.
I've not tried it yet, but if we ever get bored of the existing tracks then it could be interesting to see what people could come up with in the track designer feature.

I am in as well.  Just my opinion but for races like this average cars always end up being more fun to race since I won't be racing any ferraris in my lifetime.  Set up some rules and a time and I'll be there.

Oh and don't forget to limit driver aids.  I don't know much about the online and if you can set that as an option but don't want any cheaters :)

not sure if this will be "online"

Pretty much just looking to set some rules, car, track, use the time attack mode and submit your times, looking for honesty :)

The next couple weeks are too busy for me,  but I'd definately be interested when things settle down.  I was hoping that as a club we could start the championship we had going last year on Prologue.

was thinking about this last night, I guess for now we could use that time attack mode and just use arcade cars and tracks for the time being just to make sure us lower level guys dont have to search through the used car lot for a specific car :)

I think that we can make it a little challenging yet fun by setting limits on mods/tires and such... There are so many cars, it'll be cool to race against others in any car.

Limits would be on Tires, HP, Weight, and Potentially Country and/or Drive Train...

Then we can run practice laps at any given track for a week to put down your fastest lap. We'll have to have a bit of an honor system as far as 'fair driving' basically staying on course without cutting or taking shortcuts.

thoughts? Let's see if we can start this up for tomorrow night...

sure I tested out a bit in the Time Attack mode last night, if you cut any corners or hit a wall too hard your lap is invalid and your time turns to red.

I'm still down for a trial this week. I think the time trial mode is what we used before and it worked pretty well.
No real preference on car or circuit as long as it's quick enough to keep things interesting.
