I have a brand new Burton custom x with new est bindings, this is to replace my 08 custom x that 'broke' midseason last year. Sadly, With school I don't know if I am going to make it out to use it enough. If anyone's driving out though, I would generally still be down. I've got avi gear, training and usually don't waste my time on groomed runs.

Man, we'll have to do some riding together this year, rather than just run into each other in the parking lot for a 'coffee'. I think you can teach us some things. :)

RIDING MUSIC

Ever watch a snowboarding video and wonder to yourself... "I really like that song... I wonder what it is... I should add that to my playlist..."

I found this today... enjoy!

the cable for my skull cndy phones got caught on a tree and no longer work. i use some of the ones that plug in your ears with the little rubber cups, they work even better with no wind noise at all. i don;t turn it as loud and can hear it better.

The only exposed cable on mine is plugged into headphone jack, so it pulls out. The branch would have to pretty much be in my head to do permanent damage.
I have in-ear ones too, but I like being able to hear a little outside noise.

it was the wire that goes from the earpiece to the little clip with the mute button. when i ride trees i get quite close. to the point where i am using my hands to push branches out of the way so they miss my face haha. at speeds i guess it was enough to rip the cord a bit. probably because i had the clip by my neck on the jacket so there was some slack between the end in the ear thing and the clip. i have a cord that could replace it. i will try both again this year and see what i like better for this year. hearing some outside noise is safer.

Since i can never log on to wsc anymore... damn dsq error or crap pisses me off...

anyways, this year im rocking 2 boards. since 1 i dont ever want to see rocks with it, and the other has seen oh so many it is funny!

Rocking a K2 Podium 159 on the left, rock board aka early season. on the right i got my DC MLF 158, share my set of k2 Formula bindings between the 2 boards. boots are a pair of K2 Darkos. outerwear i have a smith with built in skull candy earphones and HH helly hanson jacket / pants combo.

on a side note i drove out to Kananaskis yesterday....

And you can count me out on any Sunshine Trips. That mountain is flatter then a preschooler!

What kinda helmet? I had a K2 with built in headphones and walkie-talkie jack, but the plastic wires froze and broke. :(

Now I have a different helmet, cuz that one didn't fit anyway, but no music in it at all. I have to just use the iPod headphones.

I have a limited edition Smith with Skullcandy. Can't remember the name, but here's a picture of me wearing it on an awesome day at Fernie:

I'm rocking the RED (Burton) Mutiny helmet with the add on skullcandy sub-woofer ear pads. That's right yo. Sub-woofer.

On another note... these vids look great!

This just looks utterly entertaining...

There's like a dozen other trailers for this one too...

Lots of local talent in this vid!

This one is looking like it will be my favorite vid this year...

Nothing will fulfill the urge other than the beautiful white powder. Such is the life of an addict.
