Do you do all your own work? or will you be sending your car/engine to service stations?

im going to pull the motor with some help from friends or extra hands, and then im gonna send the motor off to a pro engine building shop either Best Engine Builders on the west end or someone else.  Other than that the rest im going to do.  Gonna clean up that engine bay, paint items.  Any help is always appreciated.

Get him Wrenching early, Then when he's 4 or 5 he'll have no excuse not to change your summers to your winters....Or change your oil.  :D
Also this would leave you with no restrictions or excuses lol.

Have any of the mods been completed yet? Or is your list a list of future mods?
Either way I'm down!  ;D

yea the motor internals are on the way.  When they get here in a couple weeks i might just pull the motor then and leave it out to assemble the other parts as they come in.

Yes!
They can reach into tiny spots, which might come useful. And it's free labor. I think 4 or 5 is too late, get them wrenching after their second birthday.

well thought id start my thread again as much as  years have gone by but finally my engine will be done this week to be picked up.  Its been a very long and expensive journey to get here but nothing was left out on the motor.  Its been at Lightspeed for the past 7 months as i never got to drive it this year but hopefully the weather holds up next weekend and for a couple days to break the motor in  Im very excited to get the STi back.  What have i done well here is the list and the upcoming weekend getting good pics before i get the retune and storage.  The internal parts havent change from the first post but im gona repeat it.  ;D

-Brand New Short Block with Manley Pistons and H Beam Rods
-Stock Nitrated Crank, Cosworth Main and Rod Bearings with full rotating assembly balanced and blueprinted
-Brian Crower Stage 2 Cams (272) with Brian Crower Springs and retainers.
-Ferrea Valves
-Port and Polished Head
-APR Head Studs
-Killer Bee Oil Pan, Baffle, Oil Pick up tube
-Gates Kevlar Timing Belt
-Cosworth Oil Pump
-ATI Main Crank Balancer
-GTX3582 Stock Location Turbo with 44mm External Wastegate
-AVO Black Inlet Pipe
-Tomei Equal Length Headers
-Cosworth TGV Deletes and Intake Manifold
-Perrin FMIC
-Injector Dynamics 1000cc
-Aeromotive Subaru Top Feed Fuel System
-DeatschWerks Fuel Pump
-Forged Radiator
-Exedy Twin Plate Clutch
-Aquamist HSF-6 with rear tank
-Grimmspeed Boost Solenoid

Picking it up saturday from Cam @ Lightspeed to put the 1500km on it before i go back to work and the snow flies.  Cross my fingers i can do it in 4 days and that the final tune goes without too many problems.  More to come as i grab the car stay tuned!!!

yea i did and put the 1500km in like 3.5 days not fun.....its in storage till the spring and were going to do the full tune then.  We did put in on the dyno for a bit and on pump it was at 370whp at 17psi so we have lots of room to go and also with water/meth.  Cant wait

Congrats on this monster build! Can't wait to see some numbers...
