Thanks Grant!!!

Credit for those goes to Matt (and a bit to the heat build-up in the Star Specs), he driving the car really well for it being his first time racing it! He was only 1 tenth off my time and actually beat me in one run, but caught a cone.

Maybe i should try washing my car before events...you never know who's shooting =p

need more low-end torque though... really was apparent powering out of corners into the slaloms.

Matt thinks I should replace the zip ties holding the bumper together with white ones, or chrome, something contrasting. Too flashy/ghetto 240SX look? Opinions? Photoshop someone? Though I've been very surprised by the amount of people that come up to me and say they like it and that I should keep it........

cheers
-Evan

Why, because I bought a 240SX? or Because I have seven courses this summer?

I guess both are valid! hahaha

Haha it may or may not have gotten slightly out of hand...

I'm planning on doing that to the Impreza at some point too, when I swap it.

Productive weekend, changed a wheel bearing, installed a RSB, washed my car and more importantly my wheels and thrashed my car a bit!

Pretty easy, but it does require either a puller or a press. I had a special puller that worked great and made it a breeze. Hardest part was getting the hub itself off the chassis.

Thanks! I just need to improve my driving now....espcially since I added the 20mm rear bar, its not much but it still changed the car a lot. I did manage to get down to a 81.343 in the fun runs, unfortunately it wasn't clean at all =(

It's sooooo easy to kick the tail out now! A big lift or a little trailbraking and bam!

On my first run I made the mistake of braking in a slalom, almost spun out completely...

20th? You going?

I'm signed up, you can drive my car again if your parts don't turn up.

I told you man! Those A032s! They're older, but still better than most tires and you KNOW you want them. Get the money however you can. Don't worry I won't be running these for awhile till I find another set of wheels. Something reallllly light, SSR Spec-C or TE37 or Advan RG (the original model) would be nice. Might even put them up for sale if I need money for school.

My brother told me I'm turning into a wheel/tire/JDM orewhay. I think he's right =(
I blame the trip to Japan.

You'll never find them! No matter what you point at! They are hidden away in a temperature & humidity controlled chamber.

Few ideas, we'll see what ends up happening.

I'm happy it died at the track, versus something dumb while driving around. Makes for a better story! And summer is almost over anyway.
