Awe, you came to Calgary? And I didn't get to see it?! AND YOU DIDN'T BRING MY LATERAL LINKS?! =(
If the sea was vodka, and I was a duck.
I would swim to the bottom, and drink my way up.
But the sea isn't vodka, and I'm not a duck.
So give me the vodka, and stfu.
If you're having forum problems, I feel bad for you son, I got 99 problems but your post ain't one.

Lots of us came to Calgary, and purposely did NOT bring your lateral links.

Just some regular maintenance today.
Oil change - it's pretty awesome to change the oil on a car for around 10 bucks.
4.4L jug o' ittshay oil from ukrainian trash for less than 10 bucks, and a ittshay filter on sale for 3 bucks. Awesome.
PCV replaced as well.

Also, I don't much care if you think I'm a retard, but I just discovered this today:

The wrx has a little hook, as the cap is attached via a plastic "string". The L has no string, but as I was waiting for the fill, I actually read what it said on the door, and it told me to put the cap there!
It's the little things that keep you from going crazy.

A few things to update with the laggin' wagon.

Wheels were put on for the summer.

Once the wheels were on, I noticed that camber was out to lunch.
So I spent the day at Grant's, and with the help of Jackal, we aligned her up real good.
Max neg camber in the front.
Good 'nuff.

Also, it was noticed that the passenger rear flap was torn. I have no idea when this happened.
Grant took it upon himself to fix this.
Who am I to stop him?

I've decided I want to do this.

(pic stolen from GrantC)

Therefore, if anyone has some fozzy struts and springs that they want to give away, I'd be willing to pony up a 6 pak o' guiness.

Yup, I know.
Just kinda realized what I want to do very recently.

I want to make this wagon as ugly as possible.

They do say the driver mod is the best mod. In this case I agree. Get a lifesize cardboard cutout for when you are out of the car.

You might consider donating your old kidney to the Car Foundation, free pick up.

My kidney works fine, and is in pretty good condition for being only 28yrs old.
It's really the car that I'm needing parts for.

Thanks tho.

Picked up ejpeg's stock swaybars for the wagon.

Now I guess I better get started on this damn project.

Anyone got a spare functioning ej22 kickin' around that they wanna give away for a 5pak?

that looks like a WRX front swaybar....I'm pretty sure that sway bars from turbo cars don't fit NA cars, the NA bars have a bump in them to clear the exhaust...

+1

Jer & I have been down that road before with his old RS.  Since the N/A cars don't have an up-pipe and downpipe they need a differently shaped swaybar.

Try to get one off a Tribeca if you can from a junkyard. ;)

The deal was I had to take BOTH bars.
So I did.

I'm just gonna cut out that section of the exhaust to make it fit.
