08 STI Flaps
« on: March 24, 2008, 03:01:42 pm »
Looks like the flaps for us 08 STI owners are finally available, which brings me to a couple questions...

1. Any local resellers around here?  I'll order from the web if I have to, but would rather buy locally.

2. Anyone else interested?  Might be a good opportunity for a group buy.  At a minimum we could at least save on shipping if we have to order online.

I'm in for a group buy if you're interested... I'll be in Edmonton next at the very latest in mid-June.  I think ordering online is likely the way to go.

It could be a good time to order some for the Leggy too, count me in if you guys go ahead with a GB.  Oh and I will be back and forth quite a bit from Edmonton to Calgary so I can transport either way if need be.

Ya - thats why I put it in this forum instead of the "group buy's" forum.  Hoping that if the thread grows and shows some interest, that RallyArmor will make a post with potential group buy discounts.  (sorry if it should be in the group-buy forum)

GrantC, should we pm now or gauge interest first then pm them if they're not watching daily?

Hrm, I don't really have an opinion as far as how you guys run it.

I didn't notice this was already in the RA forum, so I was tossing in the good word for dealing with them directly. ;)

You guys think the supertones really make a big difference?  If someone has a set installed here in town I wouldn't mind hearing it - maybe I'll grab a set with my flaps as well.

I'll most likely need a set of mudflaps for an 08.
The heavy four door saloon just beat the sports car.... That's the M5's job!

An update, so this doesn't fall off the radar screen.

Cova - 08 STI mudflaps
Sulfurlad - 08 STI mudflaps
Pee_Sack - 1 set supertones
Canucker - 2 sets supertones
Perfect Dark - Leggy mudflaps
Frcefed - 08 STI mudflaps
ExHonda = 1 set supertones

Anyone else?  And how do we go about getting in touch with Rally Armour?

Cheers guys,
Bryan

When is this going to go down?  Just gotta talk with the better half and the dad to see if they want a couple of mudflaps.  I guess put me tentatively down for two sets of the '08 Impreza Urethane flaps.

Guys -

Do we want to add a link to the Group Buy forum for a week to see if we can bump up the numbers, then get in touch with Rally Armor on, say, April 7th?

Any thoughts?

Cheers,
Bryan

Good idea, a week should be more than enough time to get everyones attention.

Hey y'all -

Here's what I've got so far.  If you can post any updates / changes, I'll make them and send off the spreadsheet to Rally Armor on Monday to apply discounts and adjust shipping.

I've applied duty @ 6.1% to all Supertones orders, and tax @ 5% to everything.  Let me know if you have any questions.

Cheers,
Bryan
