I love how those wheels make the brembos look small.

:)

No need to remove wheels for brake fluid bleed. :)

IIRC, the rears are the same as the fronts.
Go home Subaru. You're drunk.

LOL. What I meant to say is that in some of those pictures, they really showcase their width.

2012 Wrap-up.

Last fun times with the car prior to winter.

Fastest run of the day for myself.

Having a little fun with my buddy in a CRX. He couldn't get one clean run in.

Overall there is nothing to report, car performed as advertised without issue all summer and I finally love how it handles. I put on just under 10,000km's this year including a trip out to Comox and monkeying around in BC in July. Did nothing but basic maintenance and had the timing belt service done early at 110k - because racecar. The camber plates helped save the inner edge of the tires and they still have tones of life left, unlike the previous two years when they were destroyed. I have some thinking to do over the winter and whether or not to keep it. If I decide to sell it then chances are I'll go back to stock, sans the wheels, tires, flares and coilovers. I don't think I'll get too much interest in it as-is and the parts are worth more selling separate. A dealer doesn't care about parts and will give me the exact same amount if it was stock. If I decide to keep it then I'll be switching up my turbo set-up, I won't be going rotated but I'll be keeping it stock locationish with a new kit that just got released by Full Race. I don't think a motor build is needed since it runs flawlessly and doesn't burn any oil between changes, but a compression test will decide the fate of that. I love the car the way it is right now, only issue is I'll have to trim more of the rear fender near the door as it still rubs when there is serious weight in the back. Doesn't leave any marks on the tires so it won't be a major operation. Summarizing, to sell or not to sell. I already have a solid replacement for the next toy, its a little more summer-only oriented with two seats, RWD and a massive motor in the front. It's still autoxable. ;)

I'm tired of the short-assay gearing in the STi. Plus having an STi you don't drive in the snow is just sad.

Unless I can get away with having both.

Project is in hibernation mode. Winters are installed and battery removed. Till April whenever when she goes up for sale.

Yep '09 M3 Coupe. Hopefully next weekend if not the next. For some reason insurance is actually cheaper than with the STi.
