I enjoyed a Romeo and Julieta yesterday after the race, they are one of my favourites. I have an interesting cigar for my next outing, it's called a "punch" by Campion. I heard it's very strong. I believe it's Honduran.

Iirc, one of my first cigars was a PUNCH.  On saturday I smoked a delicious Macanudo with an ice coffee, and a super mild Fuentes later with some scotch.

How does this sound? I will change colour to red when more input has been given. And you should all know once it is in big red letters it is final. xrider will you still be in E-town?

I really wish that this was when cigar smoking wasn't banned everywhere. That tabbaconist on whyte ave used to host cigar smokings, or so I heard. I wonder if he would still....after hours. That would be prime

I think you can smoke at La Tienda. They only have about three seats in there but no one else seems to be joining anyways. I am down if you are xrider and if anyone else wants to join and/or volunteer their place speak up. Hows Saturday afternoon sound? (I realize as long as no baby stuff comes up)

Yeah I am down for sat afternoon, and that is awesome you can smoke at la tienda, do they require you to buy there or can we bring our own?

and come on some other people have to be down for this, dont be shy even if you havent smoked a cigar before. no better time than now to try.

Well I say we bring our own, we can also trade or whatever. I will buy something there so I am sure they will be cool with us smoking whatever. Any specific time good for you?

I may be in.  I drive up from Calgary in tomorrow morning though.  I would prefer a Sunday meet,  but I'll try to make it either way.

A new friend at work is really into cigars,  and just set me up a "care package" of some really exotic cigars.  A Punch Royal Selection # 12 1999 seems to be the top shelf.  Funny though,  I moved to Calgary and end up sitting beside an Autox'er,  who belongs to the cigar club of Calgary,  and delivers to my desk.    ;D

I don't really have a tonne of shareable cigars though.  :-[ I have lots of the knockoff Cohiba's, but my friend in the office mentioned that they should age before smoking. Beyond that, my collection is one of each type of thing.

Did this topic really get moved to the food section? I guess I have been doing it wrong all along, need to start munching these.

Well I guess hobby corner makes sense, but food section? I guess tobacco is my new favorite vegetable.  ;D

Jackal don't sweat it. I only brought a few cigars from CL too.

I'm sorry I missed the meet.  I got caught up with all those little details involved in moving.  I'll be up again this upcoming weekend though for an Auto-X. ;)

I might have mentioned my pal from work getting me a care package.  I thought I would take a shot or two for you.  He gave me a list of what the cigars were to reference them in the cigar bible. Here's the pics.

That is a solid kit you have there Duane. I quite enjoy the cigars I have had from that bunch.
