Topic: Calgary Trail Day July 21st

Hey Guys,

In case you missed it MMBTS is having an evening trail day this Wednesday.  7:00 at Ing Mine parking lot.  You bring yourself, boots, bug juice, etc and they supply the tools and know how.

Hmm, I take it this is to help with building/maintaining the trails?

Is this a common thing, like once a month or no? Reason I am asking is I am going riding tomorrow night but would like to help with that sort of thing another time. Can't miss riding as it will only be my second time out and I almost went at midnight last night after hockey because I want to get out and ride my new bike. haha.

EDIT: upon some searching, it appears this is in Calgary. Wonder if there is something similar in Edmonton.

Trail days aren't quite once a month but I know Moose does try to have more than a few each year.  They are for all of us responsible riders to get out there and give back to the trails we love. More specifically, we go out to build, maintain and improve the trails we ride.

I'm sad to say this'll be my first this year.  It wasn't for lack of trying. Rather, my low participation is due to a pretty bad early season injury

Does Edmonton have trail days?
