Change crack windshield now (Oct.) or wait for spring?
The crack goes about half way across my windshield, but does not obstruct my vision. I know it's not ideal, but changing it now (Oct.) right before winter, the odds of it getting chipped to hell or crack in 2 months seems likely and a waste.
Just wondering what others thinks.

I personally always wait until late winter/early spring .Between running defrost, and all the rocks etc they put on the road,Its just horrible to watch that brand new windshield get destroyed over winter. Plus, lots of windshield shops run sales in Feb/march
