Is anyone gonna check out Jeremy Jones deeper premiere on Nov 10th at the plaza theatre in Kensington? Gonna be prizes and not to mention a Good way to kick off the season!

I started a ski/snowboard group on facebook to plan trips etc.

I've joined some of the others, but the admins were not very active, and group just dies off over time. Seems like a good way to hook up for carpools etc.

Oh snap, Deeper is going to premier in Calgary, I looked at the tour line up and I did not see any Alberta locations. I got the DVD last week and followed the production since day one on JJ's blog. The movie is just sick the lines he rides are pure death but yet so epic. It would be such an honor to meet him maybe even win a flag ship? Yet Another reason to move to Calgary.

Edit: Just looked at the tour blog and looks like there was a big push for Calgary, you guys rock for getting them to stop by.

My wife and I as well as a couple friends booked a kicking horse trip for New Years. IMHO there is no better way to spend New Years than a ski trip.

They moved opening day to sometime next week. I phoned and they said "for sure not this week, depending on the snow we're aiming for sometime next week" as of this morning at 11am. Sadface.

Yeah, I just called and was told that they were aiming for November 18.

Now I need to find something else to do tomorrow.

I think I'm going a little crazy. The hills here were aiming to be open by Friday, but alas, no new snow has fallen yet!!

It is a good place to spend New Years and Golden usually always gets a massive dump of snow on New Years. Actually the other couple that is coming with us is DubyaRX and his GF.

Looks like Louise, Marmot, and Nakiska all opened up this weekend.

I'm holding out for Sunshine this coming weekend, looks like there will be lots of snow out there!
