I went out there with Jeff yesterday. It wasn't too bad. Quite rocky and only a couple really good runs, but they quickly deterioriated once everyone found where there.
Weather was awesome though!

I thought I saw you in the lodge! Wasn't sure if it was you or not tho, but those bright green pants in the pic confirm yes!! lol
Conditions were decent for opening weekend, few icy and rocky spots but I had my old board with nice sharp edges to prepare for that!

let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!!!  Hope the mountains is getting a big dump of snow before it hits Calgary tonight.  Can't wait to wear my new ski jacket that I recently picked up.  Spyder Alpen.   >:D   Going to be getting new skis as well this year.  Picking up some Atomic Blackeye Ti all-mountain skis.  Woot!

Always found the 2 ski quiver is best for me.  I rock Volkl Goatamas if the pow is flying and Dynastar contact 10's when it isnt.  the Goats chatter like a mofo if there isnt any fresh snow.  Waist on the Goats is 105mm and waist on the Dynastars is 75 so they together pretty much cover the bases.  I thought about an all mountain ski but figured it was easier to have 2 sets :D

NICE jacket though!!

It was sooo much fun for a first day but i dont think that would have been my car, i have the new "purple" STi hatch... I was alittle disapointed that Jack rabbit nor Strawberry werent open due to that electrical problem in the morning which we were stuck on the gondola for about 15- 20 min. Not a big deal, just glad it wasent the whole day, lol.

just went to louise today, only a few runs open but with their early season rates, it wasn't a bad deal at all ($30 with louise plus card)

weather was nice, good sun for majority of the day, few icy areas on some of the descents but i enjoyed it.  first time out for me this season, anyone else there?

went to sunshine on saturday, it was busy and only half the hill was open with variable conditions at best. Went to Nakiska yesterday, it was dead and also early season variable conditions. It was super icy up at gold chair. 

Regardless of conditions, it was awesome to get out for the first time this season and get the legs all sore for work...lol
