You've obviously taken really good care of this car. I hope the next buyer appreciates that.

Thanks for the kind words guys. It was a really hard decision to make. I’ve had this car for almost 9 years and I REALLY didn’t want to sell it. I’ve grown so attached to it. Had so many plans for her. :(
That being said, kids and babyhauling are more of a priority right now.

Dropping down to one income certainly has made it financially challenging and I could really use the funds to help pay for a replacement vehicle.

I’ll be back in a Subaru or another fun car in the future.

How old are your kids getting?

The good news is, there are lots of members who've sold their beloved Subarus, and they're all doing OK. They might even have a Survivors' Club or Support Group.

Lol. Counting my hens before they hatch but have a 9Mo old, and another one will be « coming soon ». We’ve decided to aim for 3-4 kids and to have them all back to back (within 2 yrs apart). Trying to get it over sooner so the wife can get back to work full time. Lol

these guys have you covered
The 3 is raw.  Lighter than more agile.  The 6 probably feels like a 747.  And by that contrast, my STI probably feels like the Hindenburg.  So GR's are like the International Space Station.

Not sure if anyone noticed, but I wasn't trying really hard to sell this thing. LOL. I did the old: "Honey, I posted the Subaru (in the dead of winter) for sale, and it just didn't get much interest in it! It's really unfortunate... It doesn't look like it will sell so... oh well... gonna have to keep it"

I'm ridiculous.

So she is staying in the family!!!!

PM me for any advice and guidance on how to con your wife.

Back to the car... she is basically going to end up a toy. Weekends, random autocross. It will probably get less than 3-5 k kms per year but oh well.

Majorly regret selling my Bilsteins now. :(

Ooh, I was wondering what NLFS meant!  That's exciting!

Ah...  Yes.  You can join us for the install party...  I'm sure Gabe wouldn't mind.  There'll be spring rolls.

Yes!! Yvan I'll feed you home made Vietnamese style spring rolls. But you'd have to drive down to Calgary. :/ I'll take you out for boneless wings in Edmonton next time I'm up there :)

I'm happy you get to keep something you've had for so long.

Well, the car is sold. Looks like it’s goong to a really good home which helped me in my process to get rid of it.

Now I’ve just got to sell the Honda and start saving for my next project. Unsure what it will be, but I’ve got time to figure it out.

I’ll be back in a Subie soon enough.

My next vehicle will be light, well balanced, and rear wheel drive.

Might look at the BRZ/FRS Next spring

I was excited to read this, and forgot to post back then.

Well, the car is sold. Looks like it’s goong to a really good home which helped me in my process to get rid of it.

Now I’ve just got to sell the Honda and start saving for my next project. Unsure what it will be, but I’ve got time to figure it out.

Now I'll look forward to this possibility of a future build. I'm happy that the wagon went to a good home. I hope to still catch you kicking around here, especially now that I have some time to be back in the forums a bit more again.

Yeah. Was hard to get rid of my wagon. But I’m really looking forward to a fresh project. Clean slate.
Unfortunately for me, I keep changing my mind on what I want to get. Lol.
But fortunately for me, it’s fun shopping for a car that will be purely a toy.
I’m scouring kijiji daily, waiting for something that’s jumps out the me.
I most likely will take my time and just keep saving till spring as il currently busy restoring a family heirloom, a 64 Ford Galaxie 500xl.
So strange going from an import to working on a classic car. Lol. For starters... still not used to grabbing a stool to help me jump into the engine bay and work alongside the engine. Lmfao. It’s ludicrous how big these things are.

Yeah. Been really eyeing up the brz/frs.

Haha. Love that you have that hood scoop. If you don’t end up ever having a use for it, I’d take it back and  screw it to my garage wall as a momentous of my wagon. Just a thought.

There's definitely some excitement in that.

Very cool to be working on a meaningful project like that. One of my closer friends father has 2 different Ford Galaxies, one of which is a 500xl. If you require any info. or a possible line on parts I could likely get you in contact with him. They live just north of Saskatoon, out in Martensville. Also, another friend of mine bought one in memory of his dad after he passed. There are quite a few of them around the Saskatoon area.

Enjoy that restoration!
