Haven't seen many threads on the NBA and thought I would start one up!!

Any predictions?
What you think about the Miami Heat? (lost to Celtics tonight)
Any sleeper teams?
MVP thoughts?

Talk of Kevin Durant has been crazy this season all i hear is KD for MVP. I really wish he was still in Seattle, i feel bad for the city they lost a team that has so much potential.

I am a Spurs fan so i hope they go far, because i think TD's career is winding down. I am a Lakers Hater, but i do respect Kobe and i think he is the most complete player in the NBA.

I still like Dwyane Wade but i hate the Heat. i think they are going to choke. Chris Bosh probably made the dumbest decision of his Life. He is not going to get any touches in Miami.
If Miami want to:
got to the Post: go to LBJ he is stronger and faster than most SF in the league
Mid-Range jumpers: Wade is one of the best mid range games in the League
Drive to the basket: both LBJ and Wade are better slasher than Bosh.

If i had the skills he had i would stay with TO and try to get better. He is so young sign something short term and if things don't improve then leave.

Well, Im not defending the heat as i am a dedicated lakers fan, with TO as a close second, but bosh is leading the team in RPG and FT%, as well since lebron seems to enjoy getting the assists so far this season, bosh is always that second option for inside scoring, so bosh is the "depth player" (if you can even call him that) of the big three.

I personally think Bosh is a good player but definitely overrated, he will play well against lower tier teams but 18 foot jumpers against the good ones...I think Durant has the best chance at MVP because he is going to play 40 mins every game whereas other stars will rest when there team is up for example last night Howard had 18, 16, and 8 blks in 23 minutes but sat out the rest of the game..

OKC is looking good this year. Spurs are trying to make a run for it, they are stacked especially stephen jackson is back.
I think Knicks will give Bulls a tough first round in the playoffs.

Honestly this might be the best playoffs in recent years good match ups all around from Round 1. Anyone think the Spurs can beat the Heat? 3 Straight home games coming up with 1-1 in the series. Sorry to say, but Miami is not going to lose 3 in a row ::)
