Mod Info

Springs installed with purchase -  Tien S-tech

And they are. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1267918
New Springs
Went with Swift Springs through a group buy. no complaints, defiantly better than the rough Tein-S as there where way to low and rough for these roads
installed with help from mars636 again.

Subaru Guage Pack - Sold

DEBADGE
Heat Gun, Goo-Gone, Strong Thread, Soapy water and sponge, Lots elbow grease.
I recommend getting as much goo off as you can with the heat gun and your fingers. The goo can ball real nice and just leave a residue, then best removed with the goo-gone.

AVIC-D3
Bought from Ebay.
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1307209 - Install guide

HeadLight Clear
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=384488
New Lights from www.autolumination.com. Chrome Turn Signals and HyperWhite LED Park lights. Make sure you get the LED's in the right way before you but the headlights back in, not that I forgot to check or anything..

Black I Badge
Ebay
Got the old one off with heat gun and a small flat head screwdriver

NRG Hood Dampners
http://videos.hspn.com/?videoid=9 - Install

Fumoto Valve
http://www.quickoildrainvalve.com/

Hella Supertones
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1133994&highlight=hella+supertone+install - Install

Cusco Front Lip  -  DESTROYED
From rallysportdirect.com // painted at AERO Car Parts in Edmonton for wicked job at a decent $$.
I really like the cusco lip even though its it really widened up my front end compared to the rest of the car.. so far. Its only 1" lower than stock and really solid. Even 1" though, I'm scrapping it on pavement everywhere, and am seroiusly concidering getting the GT underpanel that matches up with this lip.

04/05 POLYURETHANE JDM STi Lip replica
From patriki  @d2 Drive Dynamics
I need better 3M tape to get a tighter fitting still - http://www.westernsubaruclub.com/smf/index.php?topic=6016.15

TurboXS knock light
Installed using the god send pinouts from
http://www.northursalia.com/modifications/misc/wiring/wiring.html
and the installation guide that comes with it. Make sure you calibrate it using the instructions before you jump the gun and think your car is knocking like crazy.

I installed it as shown as above, but with all the extra long wiring that came with it, I left some slack under the shift trim and since it mounts with Velcro, I'm going to put another strip on the steering column so it can be better visible when required.

DEFI Red Racer Gauges and ATI pod
BOOST / OIL pressure / EGT in metric

Put in a Oil pressure extender kit although rumor states that the defi pressure sensor will fit in the tight spot the gallery plug is located. But for ease of access and more stuff to install I put it in.
http://www.wrxtra.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=34&osCsid=39ce4e1599e051ef02dd99fedb921534
It came with instructions but installation was basic. Just remove TMIC, dissconnect any hoses in your way and get ready to fight hard to get the gallery plug out. It took a lot of force. once in, I secured the pressure sensor here.

The DEFI gauge install was fairly basic. the instructions with the gauges proved enough information along with this NASOIC forum
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1036365

EGT tap onto drivers side manifold. Bought the tap & drill bit and did it myself without any big problems. The shield took a bit of modifying though, not winning any metalwork awards on that.

Rally Armor Mud Flaps
Install = http://videos.hspn.com/?videoid=42
I really recommend you have the angle screwdriver, i had to remove my rear wheels to properly tighten the last back screws.
Pic

Cusco Rear Strut tower bar
Install = Easy. Pop off rear seat and undo tophat bolts.

Invidia DP, with bung weld

LC-1 Wideband 02
Installed with innovate instructions. wasn't that bad once I figured out the colors for the gauge. Installed the gauge with Eastfords idea = http://www.westernsubaruclub.com/smf/index.php?topic=3211.0

Second Trunk - Wingless
Found a 2.5 trunk through a friend of the parents who works at the wreckers. He welded over the key hole and painted. I loving the flawless look.

Stainless Steel Brake Lines
Installed with mars636. Flushed and replaced brake fluid with Motul

Groupe A Red Oil cap
Yes.

Walbro Fuel Pump Install

PROBLEMS AND REPAIRS

The Conveyor Belt Roller on Highway
Sept 2008
On my way to work on a OT day I didn't want to do, this appears between a semi I was about to pass, and my dodging attempts ended up with me hitting it directly on front of my passanger front tire.

Damage:
Cucso lip surprisingly wasn't totally destroyed. Just some lost underpanel plastic and some front cracks.
Stock Sti BBS Rim was bent beyond repair - Found new rim on NASOIC
Installed new rim and went and got my winter rubbers swapped on. Was told I needed a new alaigment
When to fountain tire for alignment, they find a bent front strut that I didnt' see before, And then they decide to smash up what was left of my Cusco lip. Nice. Got a free alignment out of it.
After my searches for a used strut and the realization that I would have to install it outside in December. I decided the dealership was better equiped for this, so I had an adventure of renting a u-hual car hauler and towing my car to Sub city in the worst snow storm on HWY 63 ever.
Now weeks later she's back and good as new. - Note, Subaru City used a pneumatic air gun on my new strut stripping the top threads. Nice. Thanks for that.

Some drunk guy
Augest 2008
Left my vehicle at a friends after I was hammered from a after work special. came back the next day and some smashed up the mirror.

New Miror glass only $13+shipping on https://www.subarugenuineparts.com/oe_parts_cat.html

Multiple Dents on doors and more
Fixed in edmonton by Brian at http://www.mrdentexpress.com/mrdent.htm. Excellent Job & Service!

CUSCO Lip
Uggh. Great idea. Love the Look. Winter hates it. Metal chunks on the highway, Fountain tire, Ice chunks and deep city ruts took its tole. Not much left of this once beautiful lip

Install Up Pipe - I think they ment this AEM

That is actually an AEM cold air intake.  By Up-pipe they mean the inlet pipe on the hotside of the turbo.

Hey Klautt it looked like it was a perrin or maybe cobb uppipe on your car.  It is hard to tell because it was heat wrapped.  If all the work was done at rally subaru they used to sell cobb and perrin so that might be what it is

Where's a good place to re-run the DEFI power/ACC. I didn't want to overload the wires to the audio system.

Doubt you will be overloading the stereo circuit as the gauges shouldn't be drawing that much current.
You could always tap into the fuse box or solder the wires directly to the ignition box on the steering colomn.

2010 Update. Cleaned up first posts a bit.

Currently stalling on tires for my Prodrive GC-010. There are Falken 235/40/18 currently on that are bald and needing to be burnt off.  I've 99.9% percent decided that the new rubber will be Potenza Re760 Sports, But I can't decide on the size.
235/40/18 - same as on
245/35/18 - Slight wider
255/25/18 - Aggressively wide, MAY need fender work. May need is the key.

I've got my finger over the purchase button of 245/35/18 but 255 will look that much better.
