I'm off to the Mayan Riviera Woot! Woot!
« on: July 18, 2008, 10:16:35 am »
I'm off to the Mayan Riviera on Sunday for a holiday/honeymoon.  Can't wait to go drinking and relaxing on the beach oh and eating.  Place we will be staying at is the http://www.valentinmaya.com/.  Five star all-inclusive resort only 8 months old or so.  I'll post some pictures up when I get back.

 ;D

We got married there back in January.  We loved it so much that we wanted to go back for the honeymoon.   ;)

Please write up a review of the resort when you get back man.

Last April we stayed at the El Dorado Royale in the Riviera, and it was fantastic.  We're scared to try any other resort now in-case it turns out to be worse than that one... Hahah.

Have fun!

I was looking at that one as well, we were told that was a great resort too.  So far most if not all the reviews on tripadvisor.com about the Valentin Imperial Maya were really good. I will write a review on here when we get back for sure with some photos too!

Let the count down begin...sucks I have to be at work still....hehe

Day 1

well we just arrived at the resort.  The resort so far is fantastic.  It looks great and we were welcomed very well.  We were upgraded to a swim-up suite as my travel agent, and myself emailed a request.  We emailed and mentioned it was our honeymoon.  So far food we had was a light snack...calamari, and the mahi mahi fish was awesome.  I have to remember to order two orders as they are smaller portions, or I just eat way too much...hehe  I'm kind of drunk right now as well, my wife is passed out already as the pinacolada's were nice and strong!  ;D

I keep posting when I can with updates.  There is currently a storm passing by and hope on Monday that it clears up for us to relax on the beach.

BTW I forgot how cheap Air Canada is, they didn't even offer us any snacks of any sorts.  NO pretzels, cookies or nuts and bolts just pop and juices.   >:(  man talk about penny pinching.
