the oilers prospects are laying a whoopin on vancouver's. no surprise there considering the depth of each teams prospect pools. hell edmontons second rounder was only 2 spots behind vancouvers first.

Touchdown!  At least the Canucks have a replacement for 7uongo in the system.

well with how ittshay the oilers have been and how good the canucks have been this game was exactly what I expected. keep in mind vancouvers 1st pick was only two ahead of edmontons second. now if it was the nhl teams i'd be worried.

As an Oilers fan, I'll take what little victories I can get.

I'm super pumped for this year.  Not because i think the Oilers will make the play-offs or even win the Stanley cup, but because I'm hopeful that we'll see a real positive change in the way our team performs.

I think getting smyth back is going to be a large step in the development of the young talent. They have nowhere to go but up, and they will go up. I say they challenge for the division title in 3 seasons from now, and for the playoffs next season.

I'm betting this season they'll do just well enough to not get a good draft pick. Still excited to see how it goes though, lots of off-season changes.
For every action, there is an equal and opposite criticism.
