5 packs of bacon and 8 litres of milk a week?! If you're not 300 lbs you're gonna be soon  :o

I don't eat much bacon, like once a month if I want a BLT. Just bought it for when I want bacon, plus it was on sale.

I would rather drink that much expensive milk then go through the equivalent of cheap pop.

Actually, couscous with some soy sauce, mixed with some rooster sauce, and some fresh chopped green onions is pretty good.

As far as veggies go, I find it's handy to have a bag of frozen peas on hand for something green, for stir fry or fried rice, or as an ice pack for injuries. :)

For something different, frozen soy beans are awesome: 3 min snack if you have a microwave and some salt to make edamame!

Where do I find one of these? I need to upgrade.  :P

lol. damn straight.

Honestly. once you try the knives in that store (they let you try them in store on potatoes and tomatoes)... you'll hate any other knife.

You have two options when you go to that store.  Bring lots of money or leave the wallet at home so not to be tempted.

Also a bottle of red wine is useful.  A lot if my recipies use red wine.

I never thought of red wine. Good idea!

Well, as my current selection of cheap assay knives will last me to the end of year, knock on wood.

Too lazy to read all the posts, but here's what I recommend:

Hormel Bacon Bits from Costco
Hamburgler Helper
Kraft Mac&Cheese
Soya Sauce
VitaMix Blender
Rice Cooker
8"+ Cast Iron skillet
Frozen peas/corn
They're going to park their car over there. You're going to park your car over here. Get it?
