Subaru Under Armour
« on: April 08, 2011, 12:04:58 pm »
I do plan to update this section with more items as I make them. For now though I offer front and rear skid plates for all Impreza models and some Forester models. Yes I'd like to do Legacy's but I'll need a volunteer, discount will be given. Front skid plate is just you'r typical skid plate, just without the high price and over the top shipping prices. I also include hardware in the form of grade 10.9, 'CAD' plated blots, them look bling! Diff cover also inlcudes all hardware but oddly I could find M10 fine thread bolts in grade 10.9, only 8.8. Still plated, but with nickel, and they will take less abuse then the front skidplate bolts, so they hold up just fine.

Both products are bare Aluminum, and have my logo etched into them.

Front skid plates are made from 3/16th Aluminum.

Rear diff covers Are constructed from 1/8th Aluminum.

Do you have any pictures of one of your skid plates installed on a GR STI? I'd like to see the amount of coverage it provides.

Thanks
If you want a WSC License plate frame, PM me. Now available in black with white lettering!

Looking to gat a plate for my 01 RS, however I have heard that other skid plates have issues interfering with headers. (I have OBX equal length headers on mine).

Experience, comments or thoughts?

If you don't know, I'd be happy to just go to VEX and volunteer for a test fit on your behalf ;)

If anything they'll just require a little spacer to push the plate a little lower.
I'm sure they wouldn't mind doing a test fit but give Ryan a call.

Does it fit legacys?

Same as the 08-12 wrx and sti so it's still a work in progress.
I have had a few people drop off their cars for a week or 2 so I could make parts and adjust as needed.
That's always the easiest but I know not everyone has 2 cars to drive around

I would be interested with a test fit I have a 99 legacy but wrx swapped and a skid plate would be awesome for the snow. I don't know ifmy vehicle is to outdated for production but you could pm with costs If your into the idea folks on sli and legacy gt would eat a skid plate up.

Any reason why? I know it's off topic, just curious.
If the sea was vodka, and I was a duck.
I would swim to the bottom, and drink my way up.
But the sea isn't vodka, and I'm not a duck.
So give me the vodka, and stfu.
If you're having forum problems, I feel bad for you son, I got 99 problems but your post ain't one.

I don't have the capacity to hold stock, they do.
Plus I'm finding I have less and less time on my hands.

Also currently in the works of licensing  my trade name 'RA Motorsports' for vehicle import services.. just like back in the old days

Do you have any of the diff protectors in stock? I'd rather go through you then have to have you ship one to vex for them to ship one back.
