Remastered edition? It's real nice

Whoa, I just looked it up.  I didn't know they remastered it.  So...  They made SC2 ftp, but you have to pay 20USD for the remastered?

What do you like about it?  It looks the same...

It looks spectacular compared to the original, especially on larger screens. Couple new skin options as well, and the audio is pretty good. I had a lot of annoying glitches happening trying to run OG SC.. and it's repopulated the multiplayer aspect in a lot of ways. That being said, I've only actually ever played campaigns yet.. not a lot of friends play anymore.  :-\

Today sucks because I want to be out camping, but everyone else I'm going with is still at work.

uckfaying goddamn air lines.
Going to fly Emma out to Calgary to meet me and help me build a fence. Check prices last night, $290 one way. Pretty reasonable.
Emma says "let me just check my schedule and make sure I can leave work before 4PM on that day".
I go to book after I get the thumbs up, less than 12h later, price is $484.

Thats uckfaying nuts. Now I am going to have to re-assess whether its even worth it for her to come out. Which means probably doing a job by myself that would be 1000x easier with a second pair of hands.

Since you're such a nice guy I'll help you build the fence for the price of the original ticket. I'm not putting out afterwards tho.

Does this actually work? I haven't tested this theory out myself but have heard the same amount of stories from both sides.

No dice. I think after flight conglomeration sites like google flights and cheapo air and stuff came on the scene, airlines changed their underhanded BS pricing algorithms to reflect searches made on flights vs seats remaining.

Ive been having to deal with these problems booking airfare too. Work changed out travel booking site to Egencia(part of Expedia), and ever since there are now massive price swings. I have to send a travel request in advance, so when I do it their site will say 250 round trip to Winnipeg. By the time I get approval, and everything is confirmed so that i can book, the flight has gone up to 650. I feel like airlines are getting into the full swing of price gouging.
God must love crazy people, he made a lot of them.

Not really a rant, but as I walked into the house tonight, I sucked in a fly up my nose.  Or at least, I thought I did?  Tried to blow my nose but nothing came out.  Went into the house and under the greater intensity and scrutiny of a well lit mirror, I pull out...  a mosquito.  And I'm like

Found out that a good friend of mine and my wife's childhood best friend who's been battling cancer for the last 8 years has decided to stop treatment. She got diagnosed at 24 with stage 3 breast cancer, has surgery, chemo, radiation, everything, but the cancer kept coming back in different parts of her body. She's been doing a ton of work with some of the cancer treatment centers in Toronto she's been going to since her initial diagnostics, but also decided that she wanted to make the best of her life and has spent the last 5 or 6 years traveling around the world taking it all in. She was planning on coming out to visit us in September, but because of her deciding to stop treatments she's now grounded.

uckfay cancer.

I knew my suspension was close to being itshay but Edmonton's roads do a fine damn job of making it abundantly clear. I swear I've had more wear in the last 2 days on city roads then any forestry roads ever done.

My favourite Edmonton memory will always be pulling onto one of the streets named after hockey players and having to immediately pull over because the Hummer H3 in front of me hit a pothole and ejected a balljoint.

Bwoah?  Gretzky Drive is pretty good, all things considering.  But still, hilarious story.  All H3's need to be taken off the road.  That said, you'd think Hummers are the perfect choice for Edmonton roads.

It wasn't Gretzky, it was one of the other "when the Oilers were good" ones. I tried googling "edmonton streets named after hockey players" but there's no wikipedia page for it.

Probably Messier.
