Spirited? Not  really, and definitely not all the time. It's fun having the option available, though. I'd get much more enjoyment if I could do it in a controlled environment.

Timmies? Sure thing, pending next weeks commitments. I need to take Jeff for a ride - I think he'll appreciate the V3's.

It will just make me cry.

Here's an alternative head unit wallpaper for anyone not liking the Pioneer version

Upgraded my fogs from OEM...

...to 8K LED (the camera very kindly filtered the bright light - for your viewing pleasure)

Possible link to what bulbs you got?
Do you find them brighter?

I put the links in this thread.

I haven't had an opportunity to test them out as conditions have been clear and dry for ages. To be honest, I liked the look after seeing it on Alex's car. Consider them form rather than function.

I'll just leave this here. I'll be having words/emails with the guilty

On a positive note, it looks mostly like deposition from the nut rather than a completely stripped thread... I may be able to save it. Given how badly the front was behaving before the KW V3's went in, maybe I should replace the stock struts with inserts anyway (if I ever pull the v3's out)

you could maybe save it with a tap and die set if you have access to one.

Shame you dont live in saskatoon. Id take it to my work, lop it off and weld a new bolt on for you. would look stock, aside from a shiny new bolt.
It's an 08.
It was a lemon before it even achieved rebuilt status.

That's nuts. Did this happen at the shop that installed the coilovers?

No. They were the ones who told me my one OEM strut was unusable. In reality there's uckfay all I can do about it except buy new inserts if I ever want to go back to stock. Given the price of KW V3's that's a pretty high chance.

Meh, you can chase the threads easily on that.. In my crazy limited opinion.

Previously, OEM rims at -1.5*

New rims, hella flush (spiderman reflection on the bumper)

Big props to T3h_Clap (Drew) for his advice on clearances. I ended up using my old 4mm hubcentric spacers. There seems to be a few mm gap between rubber and coilover after everything is on the ground and loaded up. I'll check later if there's any rubbing after AutoX novice school.

Bought some 1/4" spacers, but my 4mm oldies did the job nicely. Also bought some open ended lug nuts in preparation, but Kyle (Spec R Motorsports) threw in some Gorilla's because good customer.

Yeah... but those photos would have rocked if I'd remembered to bring some tire shine... and bothered to wipe up the left over water

Just a journal post. I might turn this into a review later.
Installed the PF01A's and Direzza ZII's at 18300km.

First impression: HOLY GRIP. I cannot get them to let go on the road under normal driving conditions.
The 265's like to wander a bit though.
Noisier than the winters. Haven't compared them to the OEM Dunlops yet.
They pick up a lot of pebbles.

Loaded them up under brakes and I think I heard a rub under the drivers fender... will look into this later. Maybe I should start tweaking the KW V3 settings.
