Thanks dude  :)

I'll take that as a compliment since they're actually 16's lol but I managed to get them to fit pretty good. Nice thing about 16's is there isn't a need to roll the rear fenders. Fronts do rub a bit but I think some camber adjustment will be able to fix that. Unfortunately though I might need to trade/sell the volks because once the front lip is on ill probably be scraping left and right haha. With 17s though I'd be able to maintain the same wheel gap but with the bumper a bit higher off the ground for that extra clearance. We'll see I guess, might not be too bad.

Got the lip on! First time painting anything this size. It turned out okay but I'll probably end up redoing it.

Absolutely love the car! Not a big fan of the new snow shovel scoop, the original looked just right.  O0

This. It's usually pretty expensive, but it works real nice if you take your time with it. Theoretically you can get the exact same finish as a pro job, but y'know...

I recall a guy on Beyond with a K20 civic (that narrows it down eh) who painted the whole thing himself with spraypaint and it turned out gorgeous.

Also, why are you selling the rims so soon?! I wish I could scoop them up

Goodveet , just curious for no reason...
Your wheels 7.5 wide correct?
How big of a spacer would you need to flush them to your fenders???
Again....for no specific reasons ;)

Lol I don't know I'm a very confused person, I like the clean look before the scoop/lip but aggressive looking GCs are also hot. It's hard to be both so either I lose the new aero parts or the rims. I'll let go of the rims and hopefully pull fenders to get some fat assay tires on this thing.

That would be Derek.

And Kellen, To run them flush, They are 16x7.5 +42 , compared to a 16x9 +30 just for gigs, you woud need an 18mm spacer to achieve the same amount of "poke".
Slap a 20mm Spacer on and they would be herrafruuuuuuush!

and quit complaining, you can fit a shoe under your lip.

17x9 +17 just for reference

On the other hand, I think the new scoop looks awesome, and is much better than the old scoop!

^ Thats true. I've received mixed reactions about the scoop, some love it, some hate it. I'm content with it since i got it for a decent price and my old one was faded and didn't match the hood properly. Once i get some wider wheels I think the scoop will look more at home, BTW it's actually a version 8 low-scoop, not the full orphan catcher.

And Assunta i hope you don't mind me using your picture

I really like the scoop. It's not as tall as the 04/05 Snow shovel in person, it's a little shorter, and wider, so it fits the car quite well.
If the sea was vodka, and I was a duck.
I would swim to the bottom, and drink my way up.
But the sea isn't vodka, and I'm not a duck.
So give me the vodka, and stfu.
