i primed the engine with oil today and that went really smoothly actually. So i think I will see if I have enough time to turn it over for the first time tomorrow!

i didn't do a tgv delete at this time because I'm not going for a retune just for something that small. However, I will be doing a tav delete when i put all the power parts on after the break in process is done. Id just rather do all that stuff at once. A two stage build is the plan. I will be going with a FMIC with my new turbo, as well as a rotated IM.

Ok, kinda thought that's what you were doing just wasn't sure. Very interested to see how this turns out. Who will be doing the tuning?

Ya just seemed like a better choice to go this route. Sunny will be doing the tune for me.

Yesterday was the maiden voyage of my baby. I put the first 50 miles of hard break in on her and she took it with ease. Lots of engine breaking and moderate boost to set the rings.

This was also my first experience with the new 6 puck act HD clutch and Streetlight flywheel. I absolutely love it. It is so much grabbier than stock, but once you get used to it, its a blast to drive! Now I go for an alignment tomorrow and put another 500 miles of break in on this oil change!

Did another oil change today at 200 miles roughly and the particles in the filter cleats have drastically diminished from before (as expected), and the filter media is no longer that dark gross colour.  The engine is still 100% leak free and running strong. Haven't had any issues what so ever with it, which i am ecstatic about! Lets see what the next 500 miles bring!

Just ordered a Perrin AOS today. And working on a battery relocation setup to make extra room for IC piping and washer tank/coolant overflow tank.

So the other day I go to drive my tacoma to find out that a damn army of mice has made a nest inside the blower fan/filter are. So this just got towed by MPI yesterday. Great. Then I go to work on my subi today, only to find out that a squirrel tore the crap out of my hood insulation. My heart nearly exploded. After all my hard work this happens. So i pulled the IC off and vacuumed everything up and checked all wiring and hoses. Luckily he didn't touch any of that. Went for a drive and everything checked out thankfully. I only left the car outside for one night too. Crazy. Im sick of mother nature eating my vehicles!!!!!

I crossed the 500 mile mark today and things are doing great. I received my new Perrin AOS the other day and will be installing it this weekend likely.

I have also been building a dual reservoir for my coolant overflow and washer fluid tanks. It will be mounted where the battery is, once i buy my odyssey and relocate it to the trunk. I will also eventually be powder coating it wrinkle black.

I finished up my battery relocation and washer/coolant tank this past weekend and am very happy with the results. It really cleaned up the cluttered engine bay and is making good room for when i run the FMIC piping. I just can't seem to put the tig welder down haha.

I like how you put foam around the trunk brace tubes.  I never thought of that.
I used to drive Subaru's.

I'm sure it's a show/cruise... But the street-light & road make me think.

"Honey, get out've the car & give that guy your camera, we're getting a pic at this red light next to our car."
