182,000 km and the original clutch seems like a decent amount of life.

Let me know if you need a hand. The least I can do after all your help with my car is volunteer a hand. :)

Wow, it appears that the tire that had a "slow leak" had a stud exit so violently it "tore it a new one".

(The tire with the fast leak had a very clear nail hole)

Exactly, that's my extra grippy stud.  Everyone knows rubber is stickier than carbide.

Forgot to post pics of the summer wheels & tires.

So here's a pic of black wheels at sunset.

Also, the clutch is now slipping to a point that's basically "un-dyno'able" right at peak torque in 4th (and now 3rd) it just goes "vrrrrr"... So, time to order a clutch...

Having ignored this & done a whole lot of #TopDown in the time between... I really should fix this before I'm wrenching in a -20*C garage.

Ordered:
  • Exedy OEM-ish clutch kit
  • Moroso oil pickup for stock pan
  • AP v3
  • brake rotors 2x front 2x rear (the slots on my rotors are gone, they must be past minimum thickness)
  • HP+ all around (bitey, noisey, perfect)

When that arrives I'll probably be pulling the motor to do the pickup & have easy access to do the clutch and have a weekend of wrenching for the rest.

Hrm, I guess I found a solution to that leaking cat/exhaust...

Only just under 3 years of seasoning/aging in the garage later...

The usual Kartboy shifter bushings (and a TiC linkage bushing I'm curious about):

I'm so excited that the knob went on already... the bushings, etc. will wait till a weekend (or spring).

Or, y'know, just shy of 3 years...

And I'll finally use these:

You better be careful with those transmission crossmember bolts. I think I have PTSD now.

Burr, you disgust me.
If the sea was vodka, and I was a duck.
I would swim to the bottom, and drink my way up.
But the sea isn't vodka, and I'm not a duck.
So give me the vodka, and stfu.
If you're having forum problems, I feel bad for you son, I got 99 problems but your post ain't one.

I'm surprised it took until the V3 for COBB to make the OBD plug with a 90° exit.
I may scream like a dainty lady, but I punch like a fairly strong 11-year-old.

Lunchtime on the picnic table!

Engine out (to do clutch & oil pickup)

Knipex can undo anything.

Down to the rivets.

Huh, OEM downpipe was totally broken off at the cat.  Only held together by the heatshields.

O2 sensor installed in new exhaust:

Engine pulled, clutch done, oil pickup replaced, and engine back into the car & mated with the trans... in one day.

Alternator, oil, radiator, exhaust, ecu reflash and we're ready to turn the key
