Some v3 wagons have a 20g. Wouldnt ever judge by whats on the out side lol.

My car's indistinguishable from a V3 except it's seats and antenna so... Gotta agree here haha
Speed never killed anyone. Suddenly becoming stationary, that's what gets you.

But your car being a 93 everyone already knows what engine code came in there from factory. The half years/late builds are the only iffy ones.
Regardless his last  was a 96 v limited with an ej20g so I was right ;)

It switches the 9 month (september) for 96s to switch to 20k's and 98s to switch to 207's

To keep on topic haha, Rob posted on JDMVIP.  He has a website now and would prefer questions to be via email since he doesn't check the forums enough.
www.robtune.com.
http://forums.jdmvip.com/showpost.php?p=73290&postcount=655

The site doesn't have anything about the new tune though.  Still awhile before that'll get done.

I just want to see the improvement over stock. The 20K is already aggressive.

Check out my build thread. I have a dyno sheet on there somewhere. I dont have a base line... which is a pain but it was apparently 210 wheel according to jimmy at vex. ended with 245 wheel. Pretty good improvement. This is also with increasing boost to 18 psi though.

What was your car boosting stock?
My car is untouched mechanically other than a 3" catback and I'm hitting 1.3 bar consistently (18.85 psi)

Brother we really gotta get this issue figured out for ya. You should be hitting at least 1 BAR.

I was at 1.1 or 1.2 I think. my ecu has 4 settings with the highest setting set to 18psi (1.3 bar ish) but it peaks at 21-22 then tapers.

Its very strange. Everyones gc8, 20g and 20k seems to have a different stock boost level lol.

Yeah, my peak boost is around 1.1-1.2 bar. How do you mean settings? how do you change them?

Edit: oh hold on, I see you have a powerFC in your car. Nevermind, then.

I have a stand alone ecu with a hand controller so I can change the required pressure that the boost solenoid requires to open the waste gate. I have a setting for 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, and 1.3 bar. all winter I keep it at 1 bar to save gas and get less slippage in boost. And 1.2 other times. I use 1.3 for auto cross or when i feel like having a bit more fun but not often.

Edit: haha there ya go.

Have you checked your ECU is not chipped? That seems wayyy too high for stock... I'd be worried running that here untuned.

Power to weight ratio lol... this isn't a fat GD *puts on flamesuit*

Still haven't solved your MBC? take some pictures how you have it set up and upload them

I actually looked at my ecu during my remote starter install. All stock. No chip on the board.
I had a bad tank of co-op gas two weeks ago that put the car into limp mode (.5 BAR), filled up with husky 94 and did a reset, running like a top at 1.3 once again.

No idea man. I don't have a V3+ or know much about a 20k, but that seems crazy high for stock. Mine was 12.7psi stock. Rob's 550 tune is for 18PSI stock and thats with larger injectors and tuned for 91 octane.

When I first got mine (EJ20K) it was hitting 14-16psi consistently up until the boost controller shat the bed (completely died) so I went to a MBC and set that to 15psi. Haven't had a problem with it yet.

Just under a bar is about what I get in calgary. There is some variance day to day or tank to tank -- atmospheric pressure and octane. Head to sea level and a good tank of high octane chevron and my k is hitting just over 15 psi
