The number 7 means a colder heat range which you shouldn't need. It can foul over long trips due to not enough heat buildup.

I recommend BKR6EIX iridiums.

I don't care if people want to sell used dildos on here as long as they provide useful information for sex toy aficionados.

BKR7s do not like starting up in the cold lol.

BKR6's are good, but I recommend Denso IK20's. They're slightly better build quality than the NGK's.

I have another article I printed off the web, that had really good diagrams, but I cant seem to find the hard copy OR the site on the web. but that one above is better than nothing.
good luck...

Should be fine with the ngk's for cold starting, im using the ones tom suggested and have no issues. Jimmy tends to know his stuff so the ones he recommends are probably a bit better but nothing to fret over, imo.

Nope, those are the Denso Racing IK01's

The IK20's are the same price range as the BKR6EIX's.

The plugs I pulled are for a Subaru, not mine, but someones. The NGKs seemed to be the winner for numbers.

So Fuel Mileage report.

My last tank of gas got me 422.0 KM Daily Driving.

Clutch slips like a siv so no hard acceleration or anything like that, but I think <400KM is wicked for this car.

I refilled at 375 yesterday, could have probably gotten 400 which is awesome for winter. Only thing I've changed that would affect it is a new air filter, half a tank ago. Hmm..

On Wednesday I ended up doing some unplanned running around in Strathmore (AKA land of no 94 octane).
Pointed the grill west towards Chestemere (Petro there has 94), with the knowingly pessimistic gauge firmly on the E.
About 15 k short of the station the dreaded fuel light said hello.
Ended up putting 52 liters in.. the trip meter was at 475kms.
Not bad for a 20K hauling around a short geared Outback wagon, with snows AND racks on.
I must admit for the last 75Km or so I was less "spirited" than usual.

Some random observations from today. May help someone out with troubleshooting. (94 octane petro)
Idle exactly 750 rpm
Vac at idle 15 inches.
Max vacuum on deceleration 20 inches.
Vacuum at cruise 110 kph, level - around 10, but very quickly drops when going uphill, a headwind will even push it down to 6 or7 very easily.

I gotta do some maintenance my mileage is brutal compared to you guys!
Last tank of 94 Husky got me 290 kms to a full tank until the low fuel light came on.

I guess this may have something to do with me also letting my vehicle warm up for 10-15 minutes each morning prior to work with the remote starter.

I actually filled this next tank up with Shell 91 to see how the vehicle runs. I don't drive the car hard ever as I literally live down the road from work.

I'm bad for letting my car sit running forever.the 422 was WITH sitting for about 10 minutes every morning.

From my understanding it is very hard to get good milage with 94 because of the ethanol.  I always use 91 but filled up with 94 about 2 hours ago so i will report

I use petro 94 and husky 94. I know most people say their milage per tank suffers on one or the other. I log every tank and have not seen a statistical difference between the two.
