And it's $2.31 per liter. Are you sure your JDM is tuned for 100 octane as we know it rather than 100 octane as used by the Japanese?

Hmmm, I'll ask my friend who works there maybe he can fill me in... in the mean time, anybody with a JDM car tuned for 100 octane might like to know I've sourced 100 octane fuel that can be bought at the pump.

Fury SL99 from Alberta Fuel Distributors... 1444 78 ave Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm

My JDM is tuned for 100 octane so this will give me an edge on the track :) and considering a bottle of octane booster that barely works is like $12 it doesn't work out to be all that much more. Here I took a print screen of the PDF she sent me, there is all sorts of racing fuels easily accessible.

Maybe it's 99 octane? I dunno but it's probably better then Husky 94

Japan uses a different scale (RON) to measure octane than North America (AKI).

Do you know which 100 octane it needs?

Well u learn something new every day, I was under the assumption that RON was equivilent to octane after reading all the threads about "omg ur jdm is gonna blow up out west" lol, I guess 100ron equals 95octane... so it might be useless, I think I'll run my tank empty and throw 10 bucks of this fuel in just for itshays and see if it feels any better I was just gonna throw some in for race day but if its not worth it then nevermind... people were saying out west our JDM cars are making like 20hp less because we dont have 100 octane so these people are obviously talking before they really know... either way a custom tune on this fuel would be sweet considering the price (u could have a tune for 94 daily driving and a tune for 99 race days)

unless you are a pro driver extracting every last ounce out of the car the difference between 94 and 99 will be un noticeable. Learn to drive first. Nothing can replace seat time.

I agree, but when I posted that I was under the assumption that 100RON meant 100octane which is why all the people are tripping out about needing 100octane in JDM cars because they don't realize it's only 95octane (which I didn't either until this thread haha)... if it was the case of 100RON=100 octane meaning the car would be tuned for 100 octane and running 94 would net less power then it would make a difference and be worth it but since it's not the case I won't bother, until I get a stand alone then I'll probably get a tune with this fuel and another for 94
