Wow! Good job.
Your documentation skills are a cut above the class.

I've worked on a lot of Toyota's and a few Lexus's, I am always amazed how nicely everything fits and is spaced out.

Kudos to ya.

I think you might be on the same level or higher then DrBreans level of attention to detail. Impressive.

Yeah this is impressive. I would have never added a sticker and wrote the km's down for a timing belt change.

I recorded the mileages of everything in my maintenance book that was sold with the car, but didn't put a sticker on it...

That's the cleanest car I've seen in a long time, and the documentation is top notch; thank you for sharing the method to the madness.

Awesome!  Thanks for so thoroughly documenting your timing belt change.  My 2004 IS300 sedan is overdue and this will be very helpful ;D.

Haha, thanks guys. I'm going by the mentality of "I just want it done right". Although all the work is on my own car so that extra little bit of attention is definitely taken  :D . The downside, and what the pictures don't show, is it took me two lazy weekends to finish it! This also involved waiting for the new vvti washer and obtaining the new timing cover (still can't believe those goobers cut it).

After reading through all that I feel like I actually did all of that work.

Time to take a break and open some beers, I busted assay in the garage today.

Well that's good, haha. When you said you took a break and cleaned your radiator, I laughed pretty good.
To me a break is like... a 3 hour nap.

You need to buy more cars so I can read through more of your write ups at work lol!
Seriously though, top notch stuff. I always say before I start working on something that I'm going to take pictures this time, somehow that never happens
