the new subby
« on: May 05, 2013, 10:40:46 AM »
Hey guys,

My name is Jared, ive owned rwd and rhd forever. and finally decided to pick up something a little more practical. Im a student at u of a, so i travel a lot so a wagon made sense for me. Im also on legacygt and beyond.ca

Figured i would join this forum since i bought a legacy wagon. I originally was looking for a subaru forester (manual) but couldnt find a good condition 2003-2008.

I did find one, however when i was on a test drive, the dealer sold it on me even tho i had called and placed it on hold. Oh well i then went to my second choice a legacy wagon. (did test a 2009 w/ a sunroof and manual trans, but had problems :( )

So i bought this baby, a 2007 subaru legacy wagon (86,000kms, manual trans) no sunroof but oh well.

Hopefully one day it can look like this:

2. new double din deck & back up camera.
3. heated seats.
4. engine swap for turbo?? Any reco's?

Some photos of the stuff, will post once it's installed.

WRX_RA is selling a 6speed STi swap in the Marketplace. Great value.
