Just like you I am really power hungry and this Public Service Announcement below from NASIOC helped me a LOT to tame my thirst for power
"I want 400whp!" Are you sure?" Read, read, read:

+1 to this.
I was also very power hungry when I first got my car, but then my goals became more realistic since I daily drive it. To run that much power reliably, you'll need to invest a lot of money, which could have gone into a different platform that is able to handle the power better.
If you're going to daily drive it, a goal of around 350whp or so should be more than enough, while keeping the car fun to drive and relatively reliable (this is subjective).
After doing tons of research myself and looking around a plethora of forums, I decided to go with a rotated Garett GTX28 and forged shortblock for my setup. Along with this, probably an ETS TMIC, ID1000 injectors, spark plugs, fuel pump and maybe water meth sometime down the road. This'll give me close-to-stock spool, but with a lot more power. This will cost way less than a 450whp build, while also keeping the car daily drivable and a tad more reliable.
Just my $0.02.
