This stuff is now in Edmonton - saw it at the SW Costco this morning.  Full pallet.
They're going to park their car over there. You're going to park your car over here. Get it?

I picked up some last week and waxed the car last weekend worked well and effortless. Going to do another coat of it I think I haven't waxed for awhile. I did use the a clay bar before wax and pulls off the dirt and tar

This whole thread is about waterless wash. I'll pretend you didn't just ask that.
I guarantee you that no-one here has rubbed this itshay on their cheap-assay Subaru paint without washing it first.

Yeah, I always use it for quick touch-ups, or post-wash. More like a detail spray than a waterless car wash.
If the sea was vodka, and I was a duck.
I would swim to the bottom, and drink my way up.
But the sea isn't vodka, and I'm not a duck.
So give me the vodka, and stfu.

It would be more worth it to take 80 grit to the car and repaint the entire car

True, but I was just wondering if anyone tried it.

How often do you use this stuff? After every wash or does it last a few washes

There was a guy at costco sw edmonton promoting this stuff and he claims it would be good for 6 months. After a week with it on I can tell by feel it s on but seems like its lost some its slippery gloss from when it was done. Going to do the second coat of it and we shall see

The cruddy water is still beading on the paint, but it's starting to build up dust. I can see myself applying this product about every month or so (that's 2 to 3 hands-free car washes). It depends on how fussy you are. I wash once every week or two weeks, depending. With FW1 I'm finding my car washes are starting to space out a little more now.

6 months - I call ullbayitshay. 6 weeks.

Another question,
After applying , should using a wand wash and hand drying be avoided? Would the wax wipe off ?

I Googled this:
http://www.fw1canada.com/faqs/

Quote
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q1: Why can FW1 clean a car without using water?

A1: Through an emulsification process FW1 Wash and Wax encapsulates and lubricates the dirt and grime making it easy to lift away with no effort.  Once, the dirt is lubricated, it has no choice but to stick to the terry towels instead of the smooth surface.

Q2: Is there any risk of making scratches on the car body by using FW1?

A2: When used as directed, FW1 will lift dirt away from the vehicle surface without scratches or swirl marks.

Q3: Does FW1 affect the paint on a car?

A3: FW1 Wash and wax cleans the surface of the vehicle down to the clear coat leaving nothing behind but a layer of carnauba wax to protect and shine.

Q4: My car has colored windows. Does FW1 affect the color of the windows?

A4: Do you mean tinted?  FW1 works on glass, chrome and mirrors too.

Q5: What kind of things other than a car can I use FW1 on?

A5: Any non porous surface.  If it has a clear coat on it, FW1 will clean it.  Be creative.  I had a lady tell me one time she took "Sharpie" marker off her grand piano.

Q6: How often should I use FW1 on my car?

A6: That depends on your personal weather conditions and where you park.

Q7: If it rains soon after using FW1 on my car, would that affect the FW1 coating?

A7: The FW1 Wash and Wax leaves a layer of Canauba wax behind.  This wax should make the rain bead up and roll off.

Q8: There are some feather and whirl-like scratches on my car. Can FW1 remove them?

A8: You can always try.  It really depends on what made the marks and how deep they are in the clear coat.....

Q9: Can I use FW1 when the car is wet?

A9: You can, but it makes it A LOT harder to remove.

Q10: If there is yellow sand or sand from an unpaved road on my car surface, can I use FW1 without rinsing it off first?

A10: You can, but you may find that you use more FW1 than you need to.  a quick rinse with time allowed to dry is always your best bet if you are concerned about the mud/dirt/sand buildup.

That's what I was thinking too. I have used clear turtle wax before this and found it lasted around 4 months but it was way more work to apply

It is wax.
It could have cleaners in it. But I doubt it. Kinda seems like a magic formula. Haha. They don't really reveal what it really is. The fact that they say it may help removing swirls in their own FAQ would steer me away from their product. It definitely WILL NOT. Anybody who knows detailing products will know this... they're just trying to sell product.

You don't apply polish. You polish a car. You work the polish until it breaks down. You are physically removing clear coat when you polish. It is not meant to provide protection... although some companies sell all in one products. There are also polishes that have fillers in them to hide blemishes.

The FW1 is marketed as a cleaner so it MAY strip existing wax/sealant. It's not really going to add much protection anyway. It's more of a quick detailer. I'd just get a good quick detailer to use after washes if you want to keep your wax/sealant lasting longer.

this is how i feel as well.  It keeps a clean car clean.  Then again, so does hand washing it

I have this too! Works great, had a scuff on my car, threw some break cleaner on to remove paint transfer, then tossed this stuff on and you would never notice someone had rubbed me. Recommend the itshay out of this stuff.
It's an 08.
It was a lemon before it even achieved rebuilt status.
