Oh man, 7:30am now.  Well, I will reluctantly be there that early.

Make sure you bring a lawn chair, it will be a long day without it.

Nice meeting a couple of you today! By the time I made my rounds to the WSC tent the lighting was mid-day and really harsh...only got one pic of the group.

Damn, can't get the 'bimg' to work and the photos are massive. Check this post: http://forums.beyond.ca/st2/quarry-park-and-polish-2013/showthread.php?s=&postid=4179803#post4179803

On a separate note it was good to meet SpdDmn, richie_rich, Rathburn and Jackal, also ran into Alex, Sniemiec on top of rolling in with lakelouise02bugeye.

While detailing my car in the morning two guys came over, one was driving a genesis, and the other a civic, to ask me what I was using to detail because the car was so clean (FW1 Waterless car wash FTMFW).  What was funny about it is that they said most Subaru owners they know are dickheads (or some other euphemism), and that I was not.  I was surprised by this comment, but every group has it's crap right I guess.  They did say that EVO owners are worse.

Lots of nice people that day, and it was a large crowd.  The only thing that was not great about it was the people speeding up and down 18 St SE especially with the large number of pedestrians.

What's the story? I'm intrigued.
If the sea was vodka, and I was a duck.
I would swim to the bottom, and drink my way up.
But the sea isn't vodka, and I'm not a duck.
So give me the vodka, and stfu.
If you're having forum problems, I feel bad for you son, I got 99 problems but your post ain't one.

Parking was a first come first server basis, i had checked out the parking lot the night before to see where i could put the tent. We arrived at 7:50 and that spot was open so we parked there, rollin opened at 8am by 830 we had the tent and banner set up, 930 rolls around, about 10 other tuners were spread out the section. At 930 an hour and a half after roll in time opened 10 scions come in together and the lady in the first xB asked adam if we could move so they could all park together, he politley said we already have our tent set up and it was a first come first serve basis. She proceded to itchbay and call us assays, which didnt stop allllllll day.

Thats funny... one of same Scion club people also proceeded to say some ignoratn and negative things about us (illmotion) while we were sitting at the table beside them eating our lunch outside of WokBox across the street.

I accidentally deleted all my show photos, but finally found a restore program that saved my CR2s! Excuse my awkward car-show-people-in-the-way angles.

We got an email saying $21,000 was raised ($10k donations, $10k Cardel matching) for MADD. It's gotten so big some folks want to reduce the sections (ie, tuners) and make next year's more "exclusive," so this might've been the greatest year ever!

I recall being mocked mercilessly at the supermeet for doing the same thing...

We got there at 8, and the show started at 10am.  I took that as an opportunity to fully detail my car as I take great pride in my property.

I received many comments on how flawless the car looked.  Although I think I received more mocking.
