WC Lathe Werks shift knob just came in, thanks again to my lovely wife.  Looking forward to when I can back to some work on the car and then some driving.

Since I have been unable to drive to close to 4 weeks I think I have done pretty well in not accumulating a large number of parts, I came close several times to ordering more but stopped myself just short of putting payment information in.

I plan to get the DAMD steering wheel and a few other interior items in tonight, anyone wanted to stop by is more than welcome, just send me a PM.  For those of you that ordered coilover sleeves you could always swing by and pick them up as well.

I am also still waiting on some gold heat shield tape so I can do the intake box.  Similar to the method shown in this post from IWSTI:  http://www.iwsti.com/forums/2-5-liter-litre-factory-motor/245621-diy-heat-managment-cobb-sf-intake-airbox.html

Here are the part boxes that are currently crammed in my closet which will be coming out this evening.

With that joke the steering wheel and possibly the shift knob will now be referred to as R. Kelly:

Installed the steering wheel, brake boots, JDM dual console box and shift knob tonight.  As I carried my stuff out to the garage I stumbled upon this visitor just outside the door in my yard.

The help and company from Assunta and LDS was greatly appreciated.  I will continue to blame my forgetfulness on my injury.  The steering wheel did not line up perfectly but I will be getting an alignment when I get the winters on the car.

Here are some before and after shots of the interior.

Looks good. What do you have those less hooked up to? The door switch?

If you mean the lights then yes, the door switch via the existing underseat lighting.

They are a little blinding where they are at and I need to relocate them to under the dash, I have just had difficulty getting them to stay attached, but I have something for that now I think.

This car is in amazing condition. I can't believe how well looked after it is. If he's ever selling it I'll provide a reference.
Mostly I just circled around it last night, comparing the difference between this model and mine.
I love the wheels.

You mean you nitpicked all night? Yeah. Yeah you did.
If the sea was vodka, and I was a duck.
I would swim to the bottom, and drink my way up.
But the sea isn't vodka, and I'm not a duck.
So give me the vodka, and stfu.

We all nitpick, I appreciated your thoughts on the mud flaps and I will give that a try when swapping for winter.  I just said you were nitpicking to get your goat.

You got to see how OCD I am about my car.

Aside from the obvious differences, such as bumper and colour of alcantara I agree there are a tremendous amount of small differences between the 08-09 and the 11 plus.   I do wish I had the black alcantara with the red stitched seats though.

I am not really into car "swinging" but a short term trade could happen.

Part of the reason I bought the car new was so that I knew it's history throughout and maintained it the way I would like it maintained.  I have done my best to keep it as impeccable as possible.

Slapped this on the front of the car late last night as well.  Was tired of looking at the holes from my previous Ontario license plate.

The steering wheel alignment after putting the DAMD wheel is off slightly and has been already started to bother me so I decided to go for an alignment earlier than planned.  Based on feedback from LDS I have decided to take the car to Zero Limit on Saturday morning to get this done.

Also, this past weekend I was at the Quarry Park and Polish.  Was flattered by the amount of people commenting on how new my car looks for being a 4 year old car, although I still see all the swirls and imperfections.  Some photos of my car at the event:

Some additional photos from the Sunday School Show and Shine back in August:

:O  Any info on that TSX in the back?  Do you know who owns it?

Also, your car looks great.  :)  The steering wheel and shift knob look awesome.

Unfortunately no info on the TSX.  I think Richie rich knows him so maybe he has some info.

Thank you for the kind words!

Yar, sorry to derail.  My heart has a soft spot for first gen TSX's...  and that one looks tasty.

How was Quarry Park and Polish?
