Any Manitoba members on here?

Are there any good restaurants I should go check out in the 'Peg?

I used to travel there quite often.

Hy's Steakhouse & Cocktail Bar?
1 Lombard, Winnipeg, MB R3B, Canada - (204) 942-1000?

I thought it was very good.
There is a place down in the french quarter that I went to. It was a house that was converted to a retaurant. You wouldn't even know it was there.
As soon as I can remember where it is, I'll post back.
They had the best lamb I have ever tasted in my life.

Sweet, that sounds like a bit of an adventure at least.

If you want an adventure, you could see if you can find it.
Its either on Dufresne Ave, going north on the right hand side, somewhere in the first block north of Marion St.
OR...
Its on Youville St, between Marion and Goulet, but I don't think its here.

Like I said, it's a converted house.
If you're standing in front of it, you know its a restaurant, but its a few houses in off the main street, Marion.

Okay, so the first night has been pretty good.  I met up with my family for dinner and then went to go see Armin Van Buuren at Blush Ultraclub.

Not too shabby of a start to my whirlwind Winnipeg trip.  Tonight, I will be trying one of these restaurants.  ;D

Thanks for the ample suggestions.
