STI sport tech x9310BT
« on: September 03, 2013, 04:20:41 pm »
I have the oem stereo (pioneer x9310bt) and I unplugged the power to it and re-powered it up and now its locked up and asking for a password.  I don't remember ever setting my own password and the dealer told me the generic password is 0000, but it doesn't work.  Anyone have an idea how to unlock it or something I can do to make it work again.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/StaticFiles/Manuals/Car/AVIC-Z130BT_OperationManual071211.pdf

pw is 1111 according to page 57

That's the bluetooth pairing password, so it may not be what he's looking for.

You could try sending pioneer tech support an email and see what they say.

I got a hack to go into test mode and found pw was 00000.  I was one 0 short. Hopefully this helps others with the same problem.
Thanks to those who replied.

Not sure if you'll see this, but did you just google the hack?
I tried 00000 and mine isn't resetting.
