Goin' to Winni...err, Cupertino!
« on: January 09, 2009, 02:55:32 pm »
Going to Cupertino, CA end of this month for some fancy IT training - I get to lurn me some new sk1llz.

Other than going to Apple (the Mothership) down there, anyone have any suggestions on what to do/what to see/where to eat?

I'll be staying a little over 7 days, so I get to bring back a little extra I think..?

They're going to park their car over there. You're going to park your car over here. Get it?

I'm taking an HP XP StorageWorks course...   I don't think Exit has any HP training, or do they?

If you are any kind of techno geek, you MUST go to Fry's.
They even have one in San Jose.
http://shop2.frys.com/isp/sanjose.html

Its like.... costco, but ALL computer stuff. (gadgets included.)

When I'm there, I'm like a kid in a candy store. Most stuff, even after you convert the price (and accidentally remove all your receipts and prices, claiming that you brought it all down with you so that you dont have to claim it at customs) will STILL be cheaper than getting it up here.

Check the local papers. Once a week, they have a full page ad of their sales for that week (sometimes, sale of the day)
