Random radio question
« on: December 22, 2013, 11:40:34 am »
A while back I installed a Pioneer app radio 2 into my rex, Works all good and fine, everything is connected well...but the radio reception SUCKS!
I have no idea why, I have tried connecting the radio wire on the harness better..nothing.
any ideas? I rarely use the radio but still
you're going to need a tune

There's a blue wire on the stock harness, that's the radio power wire. We have powered antenna's in the rear window. I had the same problem until I hooked that up.
If the sea was vodka, and I was a duck.
I would swim to the bottom, and drink my way up.
But the sea isn't vodka, and I'm not a duck.
So give me the vodka, and stfu.
If you're having forum problems, I feel bad for you son, I got 99 problems but your post ain't one.

This.
There will also be a blue wire on your adapter harness that you likely didn't solder to anything on the new radio harness.
Tap it into the 5V line.
