« on: January 30, 2014, 03:47:36 pm »
I have a legacy twin turbo same lay out as most jdm sti's with the knock being underneath the intercooler, anyways took it to my shop and they tried for hours soaking it and heating and the bolt wouldn't budge any thoughts?

Did they try an impact on it too?  Where they heating the bolt or the block?

The impact would be a nasty choice, but at this point I don't think you have many options.  If an impact will get it out the threads will be pooched I'm sure.  At least you could heli-coil it them after.
