I would have to drive it to your garage. This is still the same problem of fear of dying.

Scared of the mighty 1L ? Or is it 1.3L?

This hurts  >:( I don't make the list and I'm sure I live closer to you then they do.

I forgot about you. Lurker.

Scared of the mighty 1L ? Or is it 1.3L?

The might of mother nature on all-season (I think) tires.

And 1.3L

Please. Jeff and I will be trying to hold it down. Once you remove the wheels it'll float away.

The mini was deemed "Reginald" or "Reggie" for short.

Yup. Has a plate and what not. Looks like there was a hold up on the parts I ordered, as the steering drop was out of stock. I asked them to drop it from the order, and ship out the seat extensions and the ball joints. Hopefully those will be here early next week, and the winter tires should be on it tomorrow. Once the balljoints show up, I'll drop it off to have them installed, and have them take a look at any coolant/oil leaks.

Turns out 165/65/12 is too tall and rubs. So still no winter tires. Debating ordering 145/70/12 tires, but it's still taller than the 165/55/12 on there now.

uckfay.

Also can't find anything about fitment of the 13x6 minilites, and if I would need to make any modifications to make it fit.

Of note. I want this. Purely for the rear facing light.

Forgive my ignorance...  What would be the purpose?  To tell drivers to turn off their high-beams?

I would assume the proper use is to wire it to your reverse lamp switch so that you can see where you're backing up when on safari in your Mini.

The real use is to blind the douchebag behind you with HIDs in reflector housings. For this, a strobe bulb is provided.

Given the height of Reggie, I think it'd be directed at smart cars and Lotuses.

Or just a better reverse light.

Whoops, on my phone, I didn't realize the picture was forward facing.  So I thought it was a pic of the rear... with 4 lights.

But lol Red and SSS.

For this, a strobe bulb is provided.

I wonder...  Would an HID bulb fit in there?

I dunno how you would make an HID strobe light, but I don't see why not - it looks like it's pretty possible to jam an HID into anything as long as you don't want it aimed properly or mounted to a car that's driven responsibly by an adult.

The height would be perfect for standard height trucks and cars. Lifted trucks with improperly installed HIDs now point directly over my roof, lighting up the road in front of me.

Seat extenders and ball joints are in. Once it warms up enough to limp it to jeff's place, I can get the seat extenders in, take it to a mechanic for the ball joints, and look at which suspension pieces need to be refreshed.

Took the day off, and what's more romantic that working on your car in the parking lot when it's finally in the plusses? Seats sit ~2.5" further back now. Much more comfortable, but if you lean too far back, it will hit the side bins in the back seat. Oh well, uckfay em.

Also tried to troubleshoot why the stereo wasn't working, and it's not getting the accesory +12v when the car is on. I can't find a fuse box, but it apparently exists. I also can't trace the cable too far, as I don't know how to remove the dash... Yeah. I want to get the japanese one working, before I buy one that I still can't use. I found a second battery/constant +12v and confirmed the stereo and speakers do work, so that's nice.

Working on seats in the parking lot after sundown in -20 + windchill is far more rewarding.

We should jump it off the ramps.

I'm excited to see what this little guy can do, honestly. I hope there's an autocross in its future this summer.

Once the suspension is replaced/updated/fixed, and all the leaks are taken care of, I wouldn't mind doing an Auto-x in it... If it's in Calgary. There is no way I would ever highway drive this thing to Red Deer or Fort Macleod.
