DAYUM!

Just started perusing this thread and nice CF attempts too.
Heck would you ever consider replicating parts for sale? Once you have the hang of it.

Picture looks great.

PS you should run this photo through lightroom so we can see some of those front end details :D
Thanks man. I've heard mention of lightroom a few times now..is it free? I'm still a noob at photography, this was only the second time I busted out the good dslr..

Are those still your Work Kiwamis?
That they are..I'm tired of them.. I want some three piece AG's but I'm broke..

Thanks man, I would consider replicating parts, depending on what they are and how complicated it would be.

You've had them for a long time.  The condition still looks mint, and they still look great on your car.  I didn't realize they had so much concave until that crazy front end picture.

I 100% support LS swap! Come check out my stroked LS3 in the summer if you want. Although, if I was to do it, I would choose a GM crate motor over a custom built stroker.

Really? You've done this swap? I don't personally know anyone that has done it..and I'm at a loss of how to do it..I need a brain to pick..
Oh I assume you mean the Z06 that is listed under your avatar..

Yes the Z06, sorry I fail at writing. I love these engines: cheap, reliable, light, and tons of parts available. The power band is quite amazing. Even a junk yard 5.3 can make 400hp+ all day long for very cheap.

Chris Miles has done LS swap into his FD3S, and it is stupid fast (see Castrol lap time in put up or shut up). I found his build thread here. http://straightpipe.ca/forums/showthread.php?t=2567

I also support an LS swap.  Purists will hate you, other builders see it as a cop out, but honestly, for all the reasons SlowLGT said, how can you argue against it?  Also, it'll sound better than the rotary.

Nice find, that thing looks stock

There can be arguments made against LS motors. I think a common complaint is it lacks character and doesnt rev high enough in comparison to some engines. But we are talking about a 5.2 voodoo,  air cooled Porsche,  or >8 cylinders. Some say they don't sound good... a long tube header with x pipe improves sound significantly. But if you are gonna do a build... have you heard the sound of 180 degree equal length headers ?

Lmfao true story..I think a 10k revving rotary sounds better, but ffs..for the price, reliability, and ease of maintenance its a no brainer..

And yeah, this one is stock. Super hard to find a stock LHD, and a black one at that.. took me a few months to find one.

Man, that's awesome.. I am gonna pm him and see if I can pick his brain. I really need someone who has done it that I can bombard with questions.. I wanna do this swap myself but am not much of an LS guy and don't know domestic..
