California state route 23. It's a drive through the santa monica mountains and it connects thousand oaks and Malibu. Although I had to drive a rented hyundai, I had so much fun. I was surprised how everyone followed the unwritten rule to let faster motorists by.

Smith-Dorian trail from 40 to Canmore.

Drive from Marseille to Nice along the Cote d'Azur.  Same comment as California above, motorists are generally pretty good to faster drivers, and I had a ball even in our 1.2L Opel.

sure, all roads are fun enough... except the #1 between Vancouver and Chilliwack. Doesn't matter what day or time, it's always backed up.

I dunno... long straight roads aren't much fun. Cruise control on and sitting almost motionless for hours on end. That's not a fun road in my books.

I love my morning commute every day, up the 549 around Bragg Creak and what not, freaking beautiful drive, winding roads and everything.

The road that you take when you get lost trying to find your campsite in waiprous.  Nothing but windey gravel and shale.  A blast to rip up and down.

Or my all time favourite, the drive up and down grouse mountain in vancouver.

To anyone from Medicine Hat and surrounding area right now:

'Southview Drive'. It's like a WRC stage by the Mohawk.

Stage times please!  ;)

I love taking the drive on Trans Canada to the Shuswaps. I try and hit it later on in the evening when there is less traffic. From midnight to 3:00am you can just cruise on those twisty roads.  8)

I can attest to that, same with Coquahalla or however it's spelled.  We left Vancouver at 8pm, so by the time we were there it was completely dead.  That stretch went pretty fast ;D

mt norquay road baby
this is the stuff our cars are made for
have another car go up infront of yours and keep your cell phone on speaker, he'll be your spotter.
you better know how to heel toe thought, the road has 3rd to 2nd to 1st to 2nd gear tighties, watch out for big horn sheep, and cops, and wardens, and bikes, and hikers, or better yet dont go there, unless you have a pre runner car.
