That sucks to see but at least they left a...napkin.

They left a name and phone number admitting fault. Much better than nothing

That's what I meant...a napkin with their info on it  ::)

... I know you're out of your mind upset (as I would be), but maybe only post the name and details of somebody who owned up to an accident on the internet if their details turn out to be false or they end up crazy?

I'm sad to see the damage to your new pride and joy. That's definitely a blend paint/replace plastic job and will likely hit $1500-2000.

I did take down the image of his note as I was in the anger stages and hated his guts, but I met the guy today who hit me, he's a veteran over 80 yrs old and was very honest with me. We talked and he decided that the damage was more significant than he had initially thought so he decided to go through his insurance.

I did get 1 quote for about $1020 painted and installed(new bumper is $312.24 from the dealer, rest is labor and painting), i'll check out other places and any recommendations are appreciated.

It's brutal! Know how this feels, I got hit by a deer with less than 500 km on the clock. Everything will work out okay in the end.

Yah it's sad :( but as long as its replaced at his insurances cost, i'm OK with a new bumper.

It's brutal! Know how this feels, I got hit by a deer with less than 500 km on the clock. Everything will work out okay in the end.

It's a very terrible feeling, I would hate for anyone else to go through on their brand new vehicles.

Pedals are looking good but you're drinking far too much Canadian! Really, the only time it's acceptable to drink Canadian is when it's of the Rexal/Heroin variety!

Wait a second... STI's don't have brake pedals that big!

If the sea was vodka, and I was a duck.
I would swim to the bottom, and drink my way up.
But the sea isn't vodka, and I'm not a duck.
So give me the vodka, and stfu.

Probably a shared accessory part with the Japanese paddle shift A-Line model STi  :)

Pulled the trigger on the JDM LED Accent Lighting!! I'm excited but since it's a holiday in Japan right now (Golden Week) I don't see them coming for about a month.

Some pictures as to what they'll look like :

Very nice!

BTW, your build thread has been very helpful to me.  Learned about the RB flaps you used here, and put them on mine.  Installation was very easy on them.  Also definitely getting those fitted all weather mats.  Much better than the Subaru ones!  I think those Lamin-X covers will be on my list too.  Tempted to go blue (match my color), but yellow might be the way to go for actual use.

Nice Foz, and thanks for all the info you've posted!

Thanks glad I could help! I also take suggestions from other fozzy owners and apply them to mine :) I plan to get some HuskyLiners, most likely after the summer. Next on the list is Wheels and Exhaust!!

HuskyLiners!  Awesome!  Order placed.. lol.

One of the items on my list (though not very exciting) is a bike rack and receiver hitch.

The rack I want to use is this one from Swagman.  I like the way it mounts them vertically and overlapped, so it keeps them closer to the vehicle.  Although it needs a 2" receiver.  Seems like the best option for that is Torklift Eco-Hitch.

Need to research it more though, install might be beyond my capabilities.  I'm a novice.

I switched my rims a couple weeks ago (that's probably why it snowed), but it changed the way the XT looks completely. It's nice not to look like every other white XT..lol.

I'm debating lowering mine. Nothing huge, just 1-1.5". Then I should be able to fit with my Thule Boxter in the garage..

I just ordered my bike rack. I currently have roof racks for the mtb bikes, but it's too much of a pain for the wife to load to the bikes.
I ordered a 1upusa rack.. We'll see if they're as good as they say..
