Brazil is not the final race this season. It is Abu Dhabi this year.

I don't like Alonso, but I do like Kimi, so I will be torn in cheering for Ferarri.

I think the Williams and Red Bull cars look the best, will be interesting to see who is fastest out there.

Caterham and Toro Rosso look awful.

I guess they changed the final race to abu dahbi from Brazil but I'm still not a huge fan of the double points yet.  It might keep people interested but can you tell the drivers 2 gran Prix victories is as good as one?

I was a big McLaren fan but they seem to he shitting the bed lately. I hope Jenson can get a couple wins this year.  I like Hamilton/Rosberg for sure.  Also, hope kimi does good.

I am hoping/predicting good things from Felipe Massa this year. Nice to see Williams has shown potential to be competitive again.
You have to love the new, old Martini colour scheme. So simple, so classic.

I still believe deep down that if given the opportunity or freedom last year he could have outperformed Alonso more often. If things continue as they are, he may just get the chance to prove me right.

Unofficial aggregate test times from second Bahrain test:
1. Felipe Massa, Williams, 1m 33.258s, 202 laps
2. Lewis Hamilton, Mercedes, 1m 33.278s, 159 laps
3. Nico Rosberg, Mercedes, 1m 33.484s, 192 laps
4. Valtteri Bottas, Williams, 1m 33.987s, 236 laps
5. Fernando Alonso, Ferrari, 1m 34.280s, 196 laps
6. Sergio Perez, Force India, 1m 35.290s, 213 laps
7. Kimi Raikkonen, Ferrari, 1m 35.426s, 141 laps
8. Nico Hulkenberg, Force India, 1m 35.577s, 189 laps
9. Jean-Eric Vergne, Toro Rosso, 1m 35.701s, 135 laps
10. Daniel Ricciardo, Red Bull, 1m 35.743s, 105 laps
11. Kevin Magnussen, McLaren, 1m 35.894s, 197 laps
12. Daniil Kvyat, Toro Rosso, 1m 36.113s, 137 laps
13. Adrian Sutil, Sauber, 1m 36.467s, 181 laps
14. Max Chilton, Marussia, 1m 36.835s, 105 laps
15. Jenson Button, McLaren, 1m 36.901s, 74 laps
16. Jules Bianchi, Marussia, 1m 37.087s, 153 laps
17. Esteban Gutierrez, Sauber, 1m 37.303s, 192 laps
18. Sebastian Vettel, Red Bull, 1m 37.468s, 77 laps
19. Marcus Ericsson, Caterham, 1m 38.083s, 172 laps
20. Kamui Kobayashi, Caterham, 1m 38.391s, 125 laps

I cheer for Kimi.

My life will be incomplete if he doesn't win this year.

This should be an exciting season, the biggest rule changes in decades, and Kimi, at Ferrari, actually has a legitimate shot at the championship this year. I do like Vettel, but it did get tiring watching him dominate AGAIN last year.
I used to drive Subaru's.

I'll be cheering for Mercedes in the W05, and Williams in the FW36. I love me that Martini livery.

I find myself wanting to cheer for Hamilton because of his obvious skill.
But then....this.

Maybe he farted.

Ricciardo in P2, Daniil Kvyat 19yr old P8, and Kevin Magnussen 21yr old going P4 for Mclaren.  Qualifying was hampered by rain but the race could be too.  Anyone's race.

Midnight start local time.

Really looking forward to this season. I think parody will finally return to this great motorsport. I'm very much a Kimi fan as well, hopefully the team won't place any orders in any races favoring Alonso. I'm also pulling for Micheal Schumacher...

The technology in this series never cease's to amaze.

:) good Freudian slip parody, for parity. Some of the 2014 rules seem to be just a little draconian given the 2014 packaging requirements (W&B requirements for example)

Much disappoint in the first race result.
First thing I did this morning was see how Ricciardo fared.

You can probably find the replay on torrent sites.  Here's the beginning of the race on youtube with kamakaze kobayashi

Not to be childish, but man are most of the cars ugly this year, makes the last couple years front ends look attractive.

I also missed the race, totally forgot it started this weekend.

-New cars are ugly, but sound cool
-It was fun watching the drivers struggle on corner exits
-DRS zones are still stupid and drivers should be able to use it when they want
-Gear ratio’s are fixed, which I didn’t know was a rule this year.

I figured there'd be a big brouhaha about Hamilton and Vettel retiring, but don't judge the season based on the first race, I still think Vettel might be a contender this year.

From what I understood, they could play around with the gear ratios up until the deadline, at which point they became fixed (and therefore different for each team), not mandated ratios by FIA.

Seems like the Mercedes engines are doing pretty well right now.

I was not sure why you were posting this until I read this morning that Ricciardo and Red bull Racing were disqualified.

Yeah, it seems RedBull is appealing. Looks like they're blaming FIA's fuel flow sensor for being wack, and that's why they went with their own, even though FIA told them not to. Regardless, it's not Ricciardo's fault, and I feel bad for him, to have his "hometown" win taken away like that. Did you see the dude's grin?
