I consoled myself by paying a visit to KMS and grabbing some rust stuff (brought on by seeing pools of rusty water on the garage floor after the car wash):

Good to know you can get that stuff at KMS. I already have the POR, but I'm interested in that SEM and eastwood stuff. I need to do some rust proofing/removing this spring, just need a place where I can blow my interior apart for awhile to work on the floor pans and my 1/4 panels. Might go pop over there at lunch and take a look.

Updated the progress post with some minor maintenance items.

Today also involved a shopping trip to NAPA, Canadian Tire and Costco:

Oh yay! You did get Fluid Film. You can use the extendy-wand from the Eastwood frame coating to really get that where you want it.

Also I found some Automotive "Simple Green MAX" at the store last time I visited. I have no idea how or if that's any different from the regular Simple Green which I am always afraid will eat my paint.

I also have a crapload of oil crush washers - come by and borrow a few.

I went and paid Chris a visit at CarZilla.ca and grabbed these for the headliner, carpet and seats (FYI, he gives a WSC discount... I also dropped Jordan's name):

I stopped by there yesterday to check out their stuff.
Fantastic prices, and a lot of great products!

Didn't even know that place existed until I read your post. Thanks for the tip, will be easier to make the car shine this year.

Looks like you gave a quality rub down already.

I approve.

Oh, and Poorboys APC is great... as is Optimum. Handy to mix your own dilutions.

Looks like a really fun project! Are you gonna use the oil transfer pump to refill the rear diff after you drain it?
I was looking for something to use for when I change the rear diff fluid.

That's exactly why I bought it. I'm hoping I can find other uses for it.

Even more shopping. I'm quite excited at the prospect of rebuilding my PS pump. As long as I get it right. It's about the only thing I can achieve this weekend as everything else involves getting under the car and getting muddy. uckfay. That.

Stupid P/S pumps. Too much experience with those. I rebuilt my own.

I would swim to the bottom, and drink my way up.
But the sea isn't vodka, and I'm not a duck.
So give me the vodka, and stfu.

Picked up one of those hand pumps today, thanks! Where did you get the motul 300? Is argyll motor sports the only place that carries it?

Wifey named the car "Pumpkin" last night. As in, Cinderella's chariot turning into a pumpkin at midnight. I thought Rindercella would have been more appropriate, but Pumpkin it is.

Are you planning on doing sandblasting in your garage?  If so I thik you have the wrong filters for your 3m mask, don't you need the pink p100 carbon filters.
Thanks for the tip on the filters. The mask was primarily for the rust sprays. I was going to use it for both tasks. Wheres the best place to get the p100's? Any hardware?

Let me know how that power steering pump rebuild goes. Mine is starting to die and deciding if I want to just buy one to swap in or mess around rebuilding mine and possibly dealing with a day or two of downtime.

I know but then I don't have a car for a day, and will have to get home from work and back again which is pushing me towards swapping it out and having it done with in a few hours. Maybe I'll look for a used pump to rebuild myself then buy 2 sets of rebuild parts, rebuild mine when it comes out and sell it.  Maybe I'll start a WSC pump rebuild program lol.
