Canuckrz, Redbimmer93 and myself went to Sunshine today. It was really...meh.

I got to water ski on the ski out though.
I don't name things I know I'm going to sell eventually. Hence why I'd never name any kids I had.

We never got a season down here on the island. I got 3 days in which was 3/5 of the days they opened. But they are doing full refunds on season passes. :(

Quite sad really..... Unfortunately I can't see myself making it out anytime for the rest of the season unless I come across a really solid deal, soo that essentially wraps it up for me. I ended up going a few times to LL, and then took my annual trip through Revy and K-Ho, but overall the majority of my season was essentially spent off my board.

I guess in a sense, these seasons aren't always soo bad for me. I tend to lean more towards hockey during the seasons where I don't ride as much, and this season my playing landed me a part-time gig that pays for me to play hockey, soo I guess that's a solid plus.

A nice summer of biking and wakeboarding/wakeskating should have me coped until November. Then i'll really start to get hungry for some snow. Hopefully next season isn't such a bust.

Does anyone want to buy a sunshine lift ticket for cheap? I have one left from my costco bundle and won't be making it out anymore this season. PM me if you are interested.

I'm hoping the best of a winter means bike season will start a bit early. Ah, I've always wanted to try wakeboarding.

I was at Marmot this weekend.

Lower mountain wasn't very good, but upper/mid mountain was unbelievable. 15 degrees and lots of fluffly white stuff  ;D ;D

I hear marmot has been doing really well compared to most of the other resorts around the area. I've never been, but i do have this sunshine/marmot card, so.... i figure i owe it to myself to at least try it :o

I think I'm gonna go to Lake Louise this weekend since I only used my Louise card once this year (at Revy). I haven't been out since the second week of Feb and I'm not ready to give up on the season yet :'(

It was during the 37 cm. The visibility was pretty bad though. It was also pretty hard to get stuck on the flats that day.

They couldn't get the gondola running this morning at sunshine until a hour in. Because of the delay they were selling the full day tickets for the same price as a half day and gave out a 10 dollar voucher which can be used for anything.

I'm gonna lose my mind. I checked the forecast on Friday and it says like 1-3 cm of snow at lake Louise over the weekend so I decided not to go. I checked the ski report today and it says they got 23cm in the last 24 hours. Wtf!? Can we not get an accurate weather forecast?

I don't think weather forecasts are ever accurate lol. One day a meteorologist will say that it'll be 25 and sunny, but then it'll snow.

I have 3 tickets for louise left if anybody's interested. I don't think I'll be able to make it up there before the end of the season with exam's and stuff.
