I should mention that the Ski & Board show was today (the 25th), and goes on tomorrow the 26th as well at the expo centre. I'm going to try to stop in tomorrow if I can. Always deals to be had there. I believe it is a $12 admission.

Biggest waste of $12 for me. There was very little to no selection for high end women's stuff, and apparently I wasn't worth talking to, even after being greeted. Ended up leaving there in a pretty foul mood.

I went to the show today for a look around and picked up a few things I had the intent on buying and resisted the urge to pick up a new board as a smaller park and hardpack board wouldn't go astray and 40% off a very good selection of last years boards was very tempting.
I bought a set of last years Rome Targa binding's for 40% off regular price of $310, the Flow Fuse AT's I bought last year fit my DC boots okay but when I bought my 32's they fit like absolute crap. The Rome's fit my 32's a million times better and will be a better binding for my all mountain/powder board than the Flows as they are much more adjustable, stiffer and not such a pain in the assay to strap into in some situations. Also picked up some Rome Bowery leather gloves as well because $60 for a pair of $100 leather gloves that look that badass is an impossible deal to turn down.

Fair enough! Your lack of a location status fooled me  8) Cain is definitely on one of my bucket lists for places to board! Hopefully once i'm settled in Van i'll get out there at some point!

I was supposed to, but the forecast didn't look too promising so my buddies and I postponed the Marmot trip till the weekend of Dec. 6th
At this point, in my opinion, the trip this weekend wouldnt be worth it- the time and fuel it takes to get there, ittshay snow (unless the get buckets between now and saturday)
and lack of runs open.....
If you end up going, let us know how it is out there =P

I'll be heading to marmot on the 20th. Gives the mountain a few days to recover from the opening weekend massacre. And it will be mid week so hopefully it won't be busy.

Supposed to be going to Revy for opening day, highway is currently closed and my parents are now refusing to lend me their Crosstrek for the trip.

Much pissed off.

When is Revelstoke opening? Apparently Silverstar is opening today. The local hill, Apex Mountain, finally got a good dump and is supposed to open in a week and a half. Much excite!

Got a 5 day Vertical card for Revelstoke and picked up some passes for Apex at Costco, so now it's just a matter of getting out there.

Was at Marmot today, lots of fresh powder to be found still and it was dead! A little bit chilly but not too bad, just enough to keep the crowds away.
