What is your favorite beer?!?!
« on: November 05, 2008, 09:40:50 pm »
I am on nightshift bored again and because of the night shift thread, started thinking about beer. So here is mine...

Innis and Gunn: it is a honey hewed beer that is aged in old scotch barrels. It has a sweet after taste that reminds one of caramel. It is expensive but I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new beer!  ;D

Check it out: http://www.innisandgunn.com/index.htm

I'm lovin' Moosehead a lot right now, but am always down with Boddington.

And oh, if I'm in the UK, the bitterest stuff out of a tap they got at whatever pub I'm in.

not a beer drinker, but prefer beer to root beer (ick).

had a chance to taste Plzensky Prazdroj last summer (the real Pilsner from Prague and not the American version)... liked it muchly.

Yeah good call on that one. I usually get way too drunk though cuz I'm trying to get the rasberries and buy the time I get them all the glass is empty. Then I pour another glass. Are you coming to the meet tomorrow because they also have a preety good rasberry beer at Original Joes or O-Joes as me and my friends call it.

I wish I was but Im stuck on night shift in calagry for an indeterminate amout of time. I haven't tried original joes raspberry beer but whenever I hunt one done I another city they don't seem to measure up to brewsters. They always seem to artificial where as brewsters has the perfect amount of flavoring.

I hate getting pitchers of the raspberry beer because someone always pours all the raspberrys into one pint.

When I was still at NAIT me and a freind went to Brewsters to celebrate a big exam we had written. Pitcher after pitcher after pitcher, then I didn't feel so well for my lab practical exam the next morning at 8am. All that beer and fruit can be nasty for the stomach.

You can't go wrong with the pride of St. James Gate.  Meal in a glass?  If I can drink 10 pints after dinner, so can you! For domestic brews I lean heavily toward Unibroue product, such as la Fin du Monde and Blanche de Chambly.

Wow, this thread inspired me to drink a Kilkenny just now.

Mmm Raspberry beer, there's this stuff from Quebec my friend hooked me on. I can't remember what it's called. The first I had was from Grizzly Paw in Canmore, they make awesome beer and food.

I like Guinness and Newcastle Brown Ale a lot, Boddingtons is good.  And for light beer its MGD or Coors light in a can.
