I usually buy it from Tops on whyte (the one on 100st), or the brewery itself (99st and 78ave) but have seen it at liquor depot.
I also like to drink strongbow.

i used to drink labbatt blue as my primary beer.

It's really sweet as it does have a distinct Maple flavour. I love the stuff!

I love Moosehead too, but I find that even if I have one, my head hurts the next day. I swear there's some sort of drug in that beer.

Yes! Another Innis & Gunn fan. The stuff is amazing and the limited edition IPA is also good.

It's great beer that deserves more notice. If more people buy it they won't stop making it and I can drink it for years to come...yummy.

^ Okay I have a bottle of the Sap Vampire sitting in front of me right now. Do I dare open it? I tried it's not a twist off.

Okay I am back from the kitchen with a bottle opener and bag of jalapeno chips.

It's is now open and I realize it was a twist off, time for a taste. . . . . . . .

First sip: I don't know what to figure.

Second sip: It's growing on me.

Final analysis: It's GOOD!! I like it and will most likely be buying it again but if I was stranded on a island with only one beer type of beer for life, I am still going to have to choose my Innis and Gunn. I definitely recommend trying the I&G to anyone who likes the Sap Vampire. There are similarities between the two. Just replace the maple taste of Sap Vampire with more of a caramel taste and I would say they would be pretty close.

I love these kinds of threads.

It always seems like everyone is trying to name some obscure micro-brews or exotic foreign beer. Same kind of thing when the thread is along the lines of what type of music do you listen to? People always have to name some indie band or some other obscure band from an eclectic genre of music. It always seems like it's a one-up contest.

Not picking on anyone here, but it just seems that way. Makes me LOL everytime. Keep 'em coming!

On a more serious note...
The reason most people come off as hipsters with their fancy mircobrews and indie bands is that those are the things that create a dialogue. I would much rather hear about a beer that tastes like syrup or an unknown band that i may like, than a beer or band that get marketed on a daily basis. I wouldn't say we are trying to one up each other, but instead doing each other a favor.

Well thats my theory.

Stella is always a safe bet. Don't know many people who don't like Stella. I'm having another Sap Vampire beer and they are growing on me more and more. As for obscure beers, I'm going to call this right now; Innis and Gunn will one day be as popular as all the other mainstream import beers(heinikin, stella, corona, etc.). It has really grown in popularity in the last year. I even seen it at O-Joes at the E-town wing night.

Im a huge fan of the Brewsters Raspberry beer. God I love that stuff but it gives me brutal hangovers the next day.
Other than that my absolute fav has to be Steam Whistle........ wimper wimper
