Haha, yep. Pretty intense, eh? Just wait until you throw some VP109 in there.

We could have used your help last night getting my broken assay car in the trailer, that's for sure. No winch FTL.

Trailer looked pretty low?  I had to push mine onto a bobcat trailer to get it out to BC :)  You didnt have it that bad.... haha.

Yeah, he's had a bad string of luck ass-well.... I would have shipped it back to rocket before trusting a dealership.

Figured I'd update this a bit.... sorta started in Matt's thread.

My last motor lasted me a grand total of 3000km's.  Car was smoking bad, and after doing a leakdown, cylinder 3 was at 26% leakdown.

Ripped the motor out, inspected the block and what seemed like oil starvation, could HAVE been a contaminate of some sort in my oil.

So ordered cossy pistons, rings, and new bearings.  Sent the block out to get machined.  Got the whole rotating assembly balanced within 0.1 of a gram...

After weighing the original cossy pistons, they were actually 2grams apart........ funny how they claim .5 gram.

Cleaning everything.... after the engine was cross hatched and hot tanked 3 times.

Checking piston ring end gap at three different spots in the bore. Some were a bit to tight and required correcting.

Dry run on the bearings to check oil clearance.

Omfg... Tissues...
If the sea was vodka, and I was a duck.
I would swim to the bottom, and drink my way up.
But the sea isn't vodka, and I'm not a duck.
So give me the vodka, and stfu.
If you're having forum problems, I feel bad for you son, I got 99 problems but your post ain't one.

I wish!

Tile, tub, toilet, vanity, sink with banjo, mirror, medicine cab, taps, accessories...its brutal.
Would much rather spend it on a car.

but what the wife wants the wife gets, better to keep her happy.

Yup, for now.  Thats why its on spring pressure.  I will be getting it re-tuned in the spring.
